So I had some issues ordering a cake only because the ladies who helped me weren't cake decorators and they wanted me to follow up with the bakery to make sure I got what I wanted. The day before I was supposed to pick the cake up I went back in person and it was the same lady who helped me the first time. Customer service staff also promised to assist - this was for a retirement party for a 42+ year career in criminal Justice. The cake turned out AMAZING! Thank you to the ladies and the cake decorator!!!!

Called & spoke with customer service around 7 PM last night. Asked if they had sriracha sauce as it's been sold out all over. Without even going to look, the woman said "Yes, we have a ton of it. Big and small bottles." I asked if she could please hold one bottle for me and I'd be right there. She swore up and down that she was positive about there were plenty and there's no need to do that. I drove all the way there, only to find they were completely sold out. Shelf empty. I went to customer service and asked her about it, and she smugly shrugged at me. "I don't know what to tell you, they were there before." I asked why A. She didn't even go look when I called, and B. She refused to hold one for me. She said, "Yeah okay, like I would even hold a grocery item for you" as if that's like some crazy thing to do.....? I live right by the Safeway on 108th, and they're happy to set an item aside for me when I need it. I drove all the way there for nothing, and she showed zero remorse and took no accountability. I am absolutely floored by this woman's laziness, entitlement, and lack of professionalism. My mind is just blown. Definitely won't be back.

Very rude staff, policies that feel illegal, asking for to much information, to see social security card for items like gift cards this is extremely sketchy. I'll never go to Safeway again. Amazon and Target are my go to.

What's up with the young white kid working in the deli at the Safeway in Kent, WA on Kent Kangley? Dude is very rude and has a horrible attitude. He screamed at me yesterday for walking over to the deli meats and when I asked for something he told me sliced meats section was closed even though the deli was still serving hot foods (~6pm on a Thursday). I feel like he told me that just to turn me away. Is it worth reporting him to his manager? I know their jobs aren't the most luxurious but man that's terrible customer service. I would never treat one of my customers the way I was treated. Definitely won't be coming back if he's ever working.

I'm posting the incident again because I haven't heard back from Safeway! I called to followed up and there's was no record of my complaint! 17 days ago I contacted Safeway corporate customer service regarding the awful experience I had in the Store listed above! (Lake Meridian Store) I usually don't jump in all willy-nilly and pull the race card just because something is a little weird, it's a very damaging Accusation especially if you're wrong! However, my intuition tells ME I'm not WRONG! I know my experience was the purest form of racial profiling! I feel compelled to share my thoughts! August 27th at about 7 pm I was being perceived as a shoplifter! Your Loss prevention team (Two very young men ) RAN up to me outside blocking me from leaving and asking me to see my receipt!! Which was visible by the way! I asked why am I being detained... The reason I was told.....It looked weird when I purchased my items and walked over to the Deli!!! huh? This reasoning is unacceptable unprofessional and plain Dumb! The two men realize they made a mistake and started apologizing and by that time I was already offended and extremely annoyed!I was overwhelmed with so many different emotions when I was confronted! I was shocked, angry, and saddened! These Tactics are unprofessional, racially-biased, and perpetuating stereotypes! These young men who stopped me probably were no older than 35 and that's pushing it!! Lastly,what sadness meIf we're ever going to change racial bias in this country It starts with young people! Those two young men already have preconceived notions about African-American people which keeps racism and stereotypes! Alive! Shame on Safeway! I won't be shopping there anymore! #00839108

Time and time again the workers behind the Deli counter are absolutely so rude and unprofessional. There could be a line of customers and all of the workers just stare at each other to see who will go to the counter to fill a customer's needs, and when they finally do, good luck trying to get one who is polite. If you talk to the store Manager, the issue might get resolved for a week or two and then it's the same old routine and poor service at the Deli section again. Since I'm at it, the store stockers block the aisles and don't even bother to clear the way for a customer and their carts, and not to mention it's the same with all the Instacart workers filling their orders. Thanks for letting me vent

OMG, here we go again. Never been more dissapointed with a grocery store. Weekly circular touts Summer Seafood special. I go to the store to get some and they're unapologetically out of everything. Completely incompetent, whoever anticipates and stocks for these "specials" needs to find less demanding work, maybe selling snow cones to children at Lake Meridian. Completely unbelievably inept. Will never shop there again if I can at all avoid it. One of the poorest managed enterprises I have ever crossed paths with.

Curb side pick up was awful. Milk out of stock and no substitutions, same with honey and crackers. So now I have to head back and guess what they have milk, honey and crackers.

This store never has enough checkers and it is always crowded - hence very long lines, even for self checkout. This is made worse by the COVID spacing and the crowding, and shoppers trying to get around the lines to get into the next line - slow motion demolition derby.

I just got home from this Safeway. I tried looking for some good pre-made salads bit all the lettuce looked old, even in the bags with expiration dates in January. I did buy some yogurt, and I'm typically very good at checking best by dates, but the date on the container is 12.28.19. Tomorrow! It wasn't even on sale. Full price. It's a large tub too, not an individual size. A lot of the veggies were ...meh. Poor selection of organic food. I rarely shop here and this experience cemented my future visits as even rarer.

HORRIBLE experience at the bakery,I order a smash cake for my daughter's 1st birthday 2 days ahead! And when i come to pick it up come to find out they NEVER MADE IT!!! wowww they ruined my daughter's birthday photoshoot!

This is the most disgusting Safeway I've ever seen. The restroom is filthy, smelly and never clean. There's staff who are rude and act like they don't see you when you're needing help. This is our neighborhood grocery store, nearest to our home, but we'll never Go back to this store. Well drive down the hill to the Auburn store or go to Covington. It's seriously gone downhill quite steadily and there's no hope for it with those who work there.
