I was on hen for over 2 years. They never provided me housing. A judge even ordered them too!!! Wow the Catholic Church having an office in a government establishment. Isn’t that against the law. What happened to separation of church and state. In our constitution. How much pull do these cultists have in the roll of who gets help and who gets turned away. I am disgusted by the way they allow drug addicts to do their drug dealings right behind the building!!! And if you report it. You are now no longer allowed to utilize the facility. I had to deal with this for year’s. Now that I am stable in housing. Not from them btw. Someone needs to do a sting here. Hey Kent police. Want to know where your drug problem is. Just go to the catholic community services

This is a terrible facility to be in. When you call several times, no one picks up the phone and there is no option to leave a voicemail. The lady who did my intake did not seem willing to help me get into shelter even though I was black during my intake. However, she then made a comment to her friend that a black man that she is related to or dating is not willing to get a job and is lazy. This made her looks backwards. I believe she is on the recording as well when you call in. I did my intake first but she gave someone an earlier appointment date than me. I only got an appointment date because I had asked for it after my intake. Whereas she had given it to the other person first without them asking during their intake. She was also more polite with that client even though the client was not more mannered than me. The process is backwards because you have to do 2 meetings including one intake to get a bed. I had gotten into another facility so I did not go to the appointment yet she did not call.

Catholic community services should have a ton of awards for the wonderful work and help everyone so much. I have never seen an organization between Catholic community services and the hen program that is so helpful and all their employees are very kind and considerate. They don't get nasty with you if you don't know something. There's just so many places you call that's like that and they are not like that. I'm telling you what if you need help with housing or anything like that and if you're in need of something go to them please because they not only have helped me. They're now helping my son also. I lived in Boise, Idaho for 23 years and never got even. Never got any help at all. I come home and as soon as I get home I get to help I need. I love that place. I will volunteer for them when I am able to have the time someday. They have done so much for me and so much for my son. I could never thank them enough

Went with an ex cause he said it's better than the other ones, not sure how though, he says that they get you in and out, but like I told him, I don't see how that is, when literally waited the same amount of time as the other ones, maybe it's just cause it's in a city, he lives in and loves so much, but me personally, can do without going to this location.

Friendly Staff, clean towels ect. But there’s never any hot water & the food is ok.
