“Such a Beautiful building! Real wood floors. Even the ceiling was wood.
Beautiful exterior, interior, and Ambience.
Such an exquisite experience for my First Quinceanera!
The Joy, Love and Friendliness in the room with the Kind neighbor's and friend's.... my Heart is still full!!
I'm not sure how you go about renting(?)
Maybe you'd have to have Served?
It's a bit hard to find. Right across the street from my old High School was quite exciting.
The bathrooms are clean. Well maintained for an older building. I do wish we could use paper towels again though. It's difficult to wipe down the sink and counters with wet hands?”
“I love to coming in to Federal Way Meditation, incredibly thoughtful helpers and positive vibes. Since I practicing meditation, it’s been a huge blessing in my life. It has expanded my perspective view and become awareness of the universe. I highly recommend this method of meditation to experience the peace and joy of the true life.”
“This place has been a rock for my little family. When my husband really needed someone/someplace to put his trust, the supportive members of SEF and the SEF Blue House was/are there. The members are all friendly and involved with the program. They help plan trips/activities, they take turns running meetings, they make donations and keep the property clean. There is always something to do and someone to listen. You are valued and needed. We look forward to seeing you.”
“CCS. What can I say about CCS? This is probably a small, insignificant thing, but this place came to my rescue during the absolute lowest, down-and-out period of my entire life. If you happen to be a bit curious, itching to know, and I'm not ashamed to share this, I became unsheltered for several months.
I had only moved to WA just a few short months prior and circumstances that were not caused by me being neglectful to priorities, nor by me being addicted to substances. Because of a little typo somewhere in some office by someone unknown, the benefits I had worked so hard for many years to get had been cut off in error, leaving me completely broke and unable to pay necessary bills as I had always done. Rent being one of the things I no longer could afford, so home became wherever I parked my car.
Had it not been for an attentive, extremely caring and helpful Kent police officer, I may not have ever heard of CCS, but he saw me early one morning and asked if I was ok. I told him my situation, and he quickly pointed me towards CCS for help. And help is what they did.
First, a nightly church shelter. For 2 months, that's where i stayed while still waiting for the error to be fixed. Next, COVID came and CCS shipped us guys to a hotel in SeaTac. For just shy of a year CCS provided hotel stay until their Rapid Re-Housing came to up the help ante. They helped me get my life back by helping me get an apartment. That was 4 years ago, and I'm still in that new apartment.
Not just housing, but CCS is still helping me today through their CReW Counseling service. Being homeless was very traumatic for me, compounded by other mental health issues, I'm being responsible by taking care of my mental health and CCS assists me in maintaining my sanity and I'm living an active life that could've easily ended tragically. So THANK YOU, CCS!!!”
“I adopted my boy last March all the way from King County (I live on Whidbey Island) because I really wanted to find the right one. During the first week we had him, we took him to the vet, and found out that his previous surgery while under RASKC (due to being hit by a car) wasn’t as successful as previously thought. I panicked when I got a quote from my vet about how much it would cost (nearly 10 grand!). At first I was angry because we thought he was good to go. It took a little while but eventually I heard back from the shelter and they so graciously allowed him to return to the previous surgeon and get his second surgery done free of charge to us. I am so so grateful. I cant thank RASKC enough for being willing to help my boy out. He will always have problems with that leg, but he is so sweet, happy, and full of life. I am so glad they did not decide that he was too much trouble and ignore me or even worse, put him down. He is the perfect companion to my older girl and has stolen my heart from day 1. I also want to thank RASKC for placing him in such a great foster home, which I think was really good for him as he got to be around other dogs. He went from being picked up off the side of the road and unable to walk to playing and getting spoiled rotten!”
