I stopped in and spoke to Victor about having getting some glasses. I already had a script from some place else. He told me that they only fill glasses if they also did the eye exam. That's because that's according to the state rules. I said that is incorrect. I also called the state and was told that Victor was incorrect. Victor didn't want to help me. Iasked if he was the owner and he was not. I will never recommend Eyes Rite Optical of Kent to anyone for anything. Victor didn't want to help someone with state insurance and that I didn't have my eye exam with him. That's ok, I went to a couple of other places and they were appalled by Victor's behavior or willing to help.

The doctor was great. The staff was trying, you could tell, but was consistently delayed in everything. It seems like the office is now closed. Phone calls go to voicemail, the voicemail directs people to text for an appointment, no response to texts.

The doctor really cares and is there for you. The staff also.

This is the only optometrist I feel comfortable going to. Every other doctor I've seen can never get my prescription right, and when I bring up that my eyes are different prescriptions, they refuse to listen! But he balances them perfectly and explains the whole process to you while he does it!!

Has anyone else had an impossible time trying to connect with this business? I had to text to get an appointment then the sent me a day and time 2 months out. The day before my appt. I get a text stating they are closed for a holiday. Then an hour later I get a reminder of my appointment!!What?! I am just trying to reach someone to set something up. Very frustrating.

Never buy glasses from this place, they make you wait for weeks than they call you and say oh they didn't have what you were asking they have similar glasses the one you ordered make you wait for more weeks and finally you get the worst glasses ever.

The male representative in the front seemed nice but then was very rude when my mom was picking out the frame she wanted. He was very snarky and seemed to have a attitude when asked a question. He was very unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable. He needs to be fired.

Thank you to the staff there, especially the gentlemen that works the front for showing us true compassion. We got turned away from other places but when we explained our dilemma they did help us out. Thanks again!

There's a lack of care and professionalism. Didn't measure to adjust the fit of my frames and they don't fit. Now I need to make a 3rd visit and their business hours are inconvenient.

I have had to go to this office to get safety glasses for work. First off, I can never get a hold of these people. I will call, leave VMs because no one ever answers, and do as the VM message says and send a text message. I sent a text message on Monday, it is currently Thursday and I just had to send another text message to try and get a response. Apparently, it takes up to 3 weeks to get the glasses back, which i acknowledge is not their fault, however they just wont communicate this to their customer. I think next time I get safety glasses, I will just go to the next closest place.

I had to return several times to try to get eyeglasses made correctly due to the incorrect prescription in phone to the lab. The doctor had to review the prescription and do a new exam to see that it was not my vault as the the woman who was in charge of sending me at the end tried to say. I do have a little more complicated prescription than the average single vision or even bifocal but still she left off a very important part of the prescription between necessitated me getting a ride from Seattle out to c Kent several times. These are one of the very few Medicaid optical shops-I lost big time in terms of money and my time.I wouldn't go back if it was next door. Sorry I had to high hopes because family members had good luck with their single vision glasses. They overcharged a friend who gave me a ride out there five times what they could have gotten and many other optical shops simple single vision glasses ($500)!!?

Came in as a new patient to get a foreign object removed from my eyeball, a tiny metal fragment embedded deep. The font desk was friendly and efficient, and the office was clean. The doc did his best to remove the object, and then sent me to an eye surgeon. Although he couldn't fix me, he did everything he could to take care of me. Insurance stuff was a breeze, which is always nice. I will certainly be back for more routine eye care, as I could use some glasses soon.
