The facility is nice and clean with well-maintained mats and bags and the trainers are fantastic and friendly. I attended for the 6 week challenge to lose 6% body fat and while I managed to hit that goal, keep in mind that the contract is very strict about how you will get your money back and does not allow any room for injury or exception. About halfway through my challenge I felt significant pain in my knee and badly bruised my knuckles, but had no choice but to keep pushing myself despite this, otherwise I would have been locked into a year contract I couldn't even use. The way the challenge is constructed, it almost encourages you to push yourself to injury since the alternative is not making the goal and getting locked in the contract.

This might be helpful to know:1. Coaches employed by Fit Theorem Kent may not have fitness backgrounds or previous experience with managing fitness programs.2. The scheduling app for Fit Theorem Kent broke Nov 2023 and there was no correspondence from management - no warning, no apologies, no course of action. When I inquired in person, the coach lied to me. When I submitted an inquiry via email, I was answered two days later and instructed to email my requests in.3. Complaints/suggestions about employees made directly to Fit Theorem Kent management via email will be ignored as will requests to cancel membership.4. The response to complaints/suggestions made via social media (such as Facebook group) is to suspend your user account FB group without explanation or addressing the complaint.5. During the summer of 2023, the 9 staff members quit Fit Theorem due to questionable business policies and practices engaged in by Fit Theorem Kent management.6. Discouraged by changing policies and a lack of management response, paying members wrote negative reviews on Google. Many of those who complained had their memberships cancelled without warning.

I got to know this place by 6 weeks challenge to reduce body fat by 6% in exchange of $800 if the goal is not met. I could keep the money if the goal was met. I ignored all negative reviews and decided to give this business a chance. After starting the challenge, I realized that the goal is very aggressive but continued to press on until I hurt my back. When I informed my coaches about the injury, I didn't get a good advice and I was told to continue participating in the training but my back got worse. Then, I had to stop the training. I wanted to cancel my challenge but they asked me a doctor letter to do so! I still liked the place but they wanted me to lock in a year contract with about $180 monthly membership fee! They make everything hard for their customers to do business with them! My suggestion: Don't offer an impossible challenge to your clients and get rid of yearly contract!

Darius helped me figure out my membership situation and I can tell he is a really good dude with great charisma over the phone. Definitely recommend booking his classes and going to him for any questions and help and a good workout.

These 5 star reviews are completely laughable. (Not fooling anyone)New management sucks and I mean DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FITNESS ONLY YOUR MONEY!What used and I use the term USED to be a wonderful gym turned into this rats nest of horrible people who i'll say it again ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY.The management should be ashamed and sorry for wrecking such a wonderful place.

UPDATE!!! Be cautious to some of the 5 star reviews! They are being left by people from other studios, by people who have never stepped foot in Kent, and by people who are friends with the management…the same management who has run the business down and driven the community out.If I could give this location a zero star I would.I’ve been a member since 2021. When it was BestHour, I was immediately welcome with open arms. I brought in my whole family to sign up. When they were bought out by FitTheorem, everything went downhill fast. When the best of the best coaches started leaving, I knew there was something wrong. This placed used to be fun, amazing community. When the new management came in, specifically Kim Radtke and Udit Saxena, everything changed and it wasn’t for the better. They treat their employees and customers with complete disrespect. I am not going to support a business with poor ethics. I took my money elsewhere and so should you.

Joined about a year ago, I got in just in time to experience the steep decline in quality due to the FITT transition. BestHour was a fantastic gym with a strong community and a supportive environment, FITT is a much worse member experience. Policies change suddenly with no communication, classes are cancelled at the last minute, and every change makes it clear that the priority is profit over members. If you are considering joining, make sure to sort reviews by most recent. Anything more than a few months old is not reflective of the current conditions. And FITT took this gym over during the last year, so the people who joined FITT more than a year ago are most likely not members at this location.

I love the atmosphere here, if you are looking for a place to motivate you to get stronger and fit this is the place. I did the 6 week challenge and had so much more energy after. The plus side is that the classes are so fun!

I used to enjoy this when I joined back in February 2020 but there were too many changes with the new management under FitTheorem. This place now sucks and can't say anything good about Fittheorem. Also all the new recent 5 star reviews are fake, never seen any of these people before at kent or federal way

Multiple issues with starting zoom classes reliably ever since Fit Theorem took over. I called and messaged to report the issue but no one is there to answer the phone in time to do anything about it...Edit: 24 hours later and still no one has acknowledged this, no returned call or messages. Customer service?????

I’ve gone to the gym for years but needed to mix up my workouts so tried FitTheorem and am hooked! I needed more structure and this class setting was just the right fit! Love this place! Check it out!

I was a member for over a year but the new management has changed this gym altogether. Used to be the happiest place in Kent with amazing instructors & the best fitfam! Now, the new policies are horrible. Kim doesn't care about its members & the culture this gym had built. Would not recommend and come back.

I have been a member of Fit Theorem (formerly BestHour Kickboxing) for nearly two years. I had nothing but positive things to say about BestHour and was happy to give Fit Theorem a chance. However, Fit Theorem is, without a doubt, a toxic gym environment that is governed by poor leadership that does not care about its members in the slightest. I was called by the manager of Fit Theorem once when I commented on another member's Facebook posts bringing attention to issues that members had about the transition from BHK to FITT. I was told that this manager doesn't do business via email or text, only phone, because things can be "misinterpreted" - red flag being that putting something in writing means that the manager can be held accountable. The turnover for instructors is high, there are classes being cancelled at the last minute and not communicated to members, and overall - the experience is awful. The vibe is bad and the environment is hostile. Businesses are for making the owner money (which the manager was certain to remind me of!), but in order to make money you have to take care of the people who pay you—your members! Or just keep scamming a bunch of challengers into a "free" 6-week course. Participate at your own risk.
