I read the other reviews and thought maybe they just had bad luck. Maybe my experience will be different. My doctors office sent the prescription for a new cpap machine to this office in kent. A female from the lincare store contacted me saying they received my prescription. They verified my insurance coverage and said I'm covered at 100%. So, no out of pocket money should be needed. She then asks for my credit card info. I'm a bit thrown by why my credit card will be needed to keep on file. So I asked her, "I thought you said it's covered at 100%, and nothing will be charged to me." She said yes, that is correct. So I ask. Is there a charge for the delivery? She said no. She stated that's the procedure they have for when they do a remote setup with the customers. So I ask, can't I just go into the office for the pickup and setup? She said no, they are very short staffed. Now I'm thinking that they charge for the remote setup. She assured me that there is no a charge for the setup. Well, because I'm really confused by this whole conversation with her and why my credit card was needed and she couldn't give me an answer that made sense, I asked to speak to her manager or supervisor, she said that she wasn't in. So I told her to double and triple check with her supervisor on this because it doesn't make any sense to me. I then called my insurance company to find out if I was 100% covered for my cpap. They told me it's 80% after I got my $1500 deductible. I had only met $400 so far, so I would be paying out of pocket for my cpap. Thank goodness I trusted my gut feeling. So I found a place online that I could purchase my cpap through, and it was half the price. I also didn't need to give my credit card information over the phone to a new employee who doesn't know anything and is just trying to get your credit card information. I did ask that employee if there is a site, they have to enter the credit card information due to security risk and hippa compliance. She said no, they don't have any such thing. My advice is to look elsewhere. You will be disappointed, possibly charged for things you didn't order, and just very, very shady and dishonest practice by this company. Remember. I warned you. RUN the other way

My doctor sent an order to Lincare for an oxygen concentrator for overnight use. I kept checking on why I hadn't received it. Turns out that they wanted the doctor to change my diagnosis so that they could send me a c-pap device instead of an oxygen concentrator! Since when does a medical supply company dictate a diagnosis to the doctor? And they said wanted to "explore other avenues" to an oxygen concentrator. I have stage 3 COPD, and there are no other avenues. Lincare delayed the order for more than 2.5 weeks, all the while I slept at oxygen levels below 88% saturation. They should not be in business in my opinion. And they were rude to me when I called during the 2.5-week delay. They said not to call back, but they would "reach out to me" at some point. SMHIf anyone from the state department that oversees medical supply company reads this, I hope they will investigate Lincare.

I was trying to find out where my prescription was in "the process " and asked that question. The person ( I think her name was Trish) kept saying they will call me back when they needed to talk to me.... I asked if I could speak to someone in the department that was doing the preliminary work ---- she just kept interrupting me giving me an answer to a question I had NOT asked..... I also told her I had some difficulty recently in getting return calls from Lincare which was why I wanted to figure out where my prescription was on that day....Finally, she said something like "well, you have not used our services for a long time, so you are free to go with another company "....... I told her I did not think it was very good service to be referring customers to another company because you did not want to answer their question or request .....I then asked to speak to her supervisor who she told me was Kyle---- she also indicated he was "not available " at that time. I made sure she had my phone number and asked her to have Kyle contact me ---- she said she would give him the message----- it is over a week later and I have not heard from Kyle or anyone else---- I am very doubtful she passed my message on given her hostility towards me on the phone.....I would strongly suggest anyone reading this review take Trish's advice and go with ANOTHER company.....

This company is horrid. They all of a sudden stopped sending our feeding tube supplies. Told us we had to start all over so we did. We had to go to the doctor and get new script etc etc. Gave it to Lincare who sent wrong paperwork and insurance denied. Now they say we have to start all over for a third time. We are having to pay out of pocket for everything. Don't trust your loved ones needs with this company.

I really enjoyed working with Lincare. Ashley, specifically, is super understanding and willing to accommodate/work with Enteral patients! Lincare has been wonderful to work with overall!

So, my window for oxygen was 11-4, it's 7:33 and I still don't have my oxygen. Hope I can post in the morning. Seriously? The office hung up on my calls, 3x.

Lack of educating my parents and grandma. Lack of maintaining my grandmas oxygen machine. Lack of care. Lack of giving a damn. My grandma is dead thanks to you. Thanks to a white substance that we didn't know was there. A substance that they should have seen IF they had cared to come maintain her oxygen. Who knows what it was or how long she breathed it in. They came and took the machine and cleaned it up so fast (after she died) that we couldn't even take pictures. F-you Lincare. F-you for taking my grandma's life by not giving a damn. Thanks to you, our family lost an amazing soul. Thanks to you, we still cry daily. Thanks to you, life will never be the same.

This business has the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. It has taken me 5 months to try to get a new c pap machine. Dozens of phone calls and messages and no success. They do not respond to phone calls, texts or e mails. Do not use this place for any medical needs they just do not care.

I called Oct. 5th for a supply for my mother, I waited for 2 weeks until today, comes to find out, no shipment was made since I called the last time. This is not the first time they did to us, 2 times. They are not good in documenting things as to who ordered......Im still hoping for them to do better in the future.....I know you can do better than this.

Poor communication between management and delivery/pickup people. Scheduled to have tanks picked up x2 (both no shows) and the x3 time, they just said to leave it outside which seems extremely dangerous.

When they had a regular things went smoothly and I had a direct number. She left for a better opportunity and ever since my son hasten out of medical formula multiple times, they do not send out when they say they will and you'll spend hours on hold each time.There are no options to have things sent out monthly, there is no reminder option and if you want a tracking you have to call back and get it.They recently sent my sons supply days late even though they knew we were out, then they choose to not put our apartment number which had it lost.I had to find the packages myself and the emergency number never got back with me.I am in the process of finding a new supplier because its a joke.For a lot of people these are life saving supplies, I know that ours are and they just don't care.

From the very late delivery (11pm) and running out of oxygen when they were scheduled at 7-8 pm to getting no response after a month and a half to pick it all up 8 months later. The BILL CAME THOUGH! They got into my bank account without permission! The delivery was so late (office closed), he wouldn't leave the equipment (in case) my insurance wouldn't pay, WITHOUT A DEBIT CARD NUMBER. ONE TIME USE PERMISSION! I didn't catch it until two withdrawals. After contacting them they stopped the debit of $133??!!! But billed me $18. . Still sitting on equipment and another bill came in the mail today.

Is it illegal for a medical supply company to be this incompetent? Serious question. It took months for me to get a CPAP from them after my doctor sent them my prescription multiple times. After reading the reviews I can see I'm not the only person who has experienced such poor service. Also, I'm continually billed for a CPAP machine that I've already paid for. It's unbelievable how they can keep charging me money for something I've already paid.
