Amazing customer service!
I ordered an addi circular needle from them in February. The cable pulled off the needle three months later. I knew that addi guaranteed their needles, but I wasn't sure if I would need to contact the company directly or if Makers' Mercantile could/would help. I sent Maker's Mercantile a photo of the failed needle and they mailed a replacement to me the following day! I was so pleased and relieved that I didn't need to contact the manufacturer myself.
I will buy from Maker's Mercantile again.

Very limited stock from just a few brands but the staff is amazingly friendly and their in house skeins are gorgeous. Came looking for malabrigo. Left happy with 4 skeins of their stuff instead. Worth a visit!

Not the most user friendly of places but I was desperate for a longer knitting needle over the holidays when I was stranded during the Southwest airlines mess. I knew I should have packed a longer cable!

This physical business is closed, I guess their online is still open, joining the thousands of other online yarnshops. So sad. If I wanted to shop at Jimmywools dot com for online yarn, it's there, but there wasn't a Jimmy wools in Seattle to go touch and look at the fibers youre spending 100$s on. I wish yarn shops understood there's to much competition online, and we want physical shops.,

This shop was a destination place for all my friends and family knitters that visited me in Seattle. The staff was super helpful and the inventory was die for!!! Just recently, the store announced that they were closing their retail location, but would continue online sales (and hopefully classes). I will miss this wonderful yarn store because it was delightfully special. I will continue to shop on their website and I hope Karin Skacel (the owner) will continue her informative Videos on their newsletter. I am sorry to say that there are too many yarn specialty shops closing in this area. I've always viewed these shops as places to meet and socialize with knitters. The "Knitting Circle" is not quite the same on Zoom. Thank you Karin for providing us that special place to find wonderful yarns and very enjoyable company. Hope you may be able to have a retail location again near me soon.

I love this place! It is a wonderful place to shop and everybody is really friendly and knowledgeable. There is a nice selection of yarn, fabric, and notions. I have never been disappointed!
