This is a smaller store with very low customer footprint. It’s a little awkward when you’re 1 of 3 customers and the retail employee asks if I needed assistance but not to others. It was obvious the employees eye non-white customers. I made a return and purchase. Most of the verbal exchange was interrogatory in tone rather than of helpful and cheerful. I do most of my retail purchases online to avoid this kind of interaction.

Had a GREAT experience at this Old Navy today with my 5-month-old son, along with a full size stroller.> The Store was SUPER CLEAN and organized!> Had no issues with the stroller - plenty of space throughout the store.> Family Friendly, Stroller friendly bathroom. Clean bathroom with a clean sturdy changing table. This bathroom is BIG!> I was offered ROOM 1 in the changing room- TONS of space for the stroller, myself, and the clothes. Again, a nice BIG clean changing room.> STAFF: Was super friendly from the moment I walked-in to the moment I checked out. I even had to feed my baby a bottle midway shopping, changed him twice in the bathroom etc. Staff seemed to be very welcoming and understanding.*It’s hard all on its own trying to shop with a baby, so finding a store that makes that experience that much easier is such a relief.*To be Honest this was the first time I had walked into an Old Navy since I was in High School, but now after having such a good experience and finding some great items for my son along with a couple things for myself, I will be back.Thank you!

It was obvious the employees eye non-white customers. I made a return and purchase. Most of the verbal exchange was interrogatory in tone rather than of helpful and cheerful. I do most of my retail purchases online to avoid this kind of interaction.

Dear AshleyThe next time that you have a shopper that you feel suspicious about, you and your security guard shouldn’t make it so obvious. I should have put everything down and left your store instead of opening a Old Navy Credit card account but I’m determined to prove a point now. The way that you guys watched me I assume that you are part owner of the store,you own stock or they’re paying you 100k a year based on the way you guys watched me. I would assume when Old Navy takes a loss, it comes out of your pocket directly, nothing else makes sense. Lol.I don’t know if you racially profiled me today and felt I was suspicious because I’m a black woman or because I was underdressed but let’s be honest you don’t have to be a millionaire to shop at Old Navy. And by the way, I’m going to return every single item I purchased today and close my new Old Navy credit card account simply because my experience you gave me. All companies that make money want to retain business and their customers but because of you I will not be a customer of Old navy or Gap. The funniest part of it all is that I Own stock in the gap so technically I guess you work for me.You have to do better! Have a good day!

The next time that you have a shopper that you feel suspicious about, you and your security guard shouldn't make it so obvious. I should have put everything down and left your store instead of opening a line of credit with Old Navy but I'm determined to prove a point now. The way that you guys watched me, I assume that you are a part owner of the store, you own stock or they're paying you 100,000 a year. I would assume when Old Navy takes a loss that comes directly out of your own pocket, nothing else makes sense.
