I like Pawn Shops and shop at them when in the area. Pawn Express is a great place to shop. I have known Maureen for 20 years. I have bought and sometimes sold tools to her. She is always friendly and honest in her dealings. He shop is always clean and well organized. I have been to most of the shops in the Seattle area and it is nice to see a familiar face. She is the owner and always willing work with you. At most of the other stores it is someone different every time you go in. Stop by when you are in the Kent area.

I had a pretty bad experience here. I was looking at inexpensive gold rings ranging from $80-$130. I liked the $130 one and asked if they could come down at all on it and the older woman helping me patronizingly said "maybe you should be looking at silver". I calmly responded I was looking to spend closer to $100 and she told me that you can't find gold rings for that price, even though I'm currently looking at/considering two other gold rings for under $100 in their shop? Very poor sales tactics, weird experience. If their listed price is their best price, thats totally fine just tell me. I am extremely familiar with the precious metals market, and I would likely be willing to pay $130 for the ring if the individual actually tried selling it to me, but our conversation left a very sour taste in my mouth. It's a shame, I've done business with them before and likely won't again.

I really had a great experience at this pawn shop store especially going there for the very first time. I was surfing on OfferUp on my phone and I notice that they have a 3DS game called Pokemon Moon available on their OfferUp. When I called and ask the person on the phone call to put it on hold, they put it on hold for me and I also let them know ahead of time of my estimated time to arrive there. I am a man of my words when I ask them to put the game on hold and will purchase it. As soon as I arrived there the lady worker greeted me and she was a sweetheart. When I mentioned my name that I have a order on hold, she knew and she helped me out at the front cashier. I’m glad that they have the Pokemon Moon game available. I bought it as my collection and will definitely play it during my spare time. I even tried playing the game on my 3DS and it works like brand new with no issues so far. I will definitely go back to Pawn Express if they ever have something that I like to buy whenever.
