Don’t waste your time and money!
Technicians are unskilled. I had my nails redone three times, and each attempt was worse than the last.

Hands down the best nail salon experience I’ve ever had!!! I felt like I was at a spa—total princess treatment👸🏽 Huge thank you to Tammy and Nikki for doing a fantastic job on my nails. So kind, skilled, and detail-oriented. I’ll definitely be coming back!💝

They talk shit about customers in their language. They thought I did not understand what they were talking about, but I actually did. They weren't satisfied with a tip amount, so they complained in their language. They did not even do well with my nails. I strongly do not recommend this nail salon.

My mom and her bestie are set to go on a cruise this week so they decided to get their nails done and I told them I’d come along.
We had reservations at 10am because we had lunch plans so we wanted to make sure we’d have plenty of time. My mom and I arrived at 9:45 but since the salon opened at 10am we decided to wait in the car for 10 min. That was apparently the wrong call.
We got in at 9:55 with my mom’s best friend and they were totally full. My mom and I got seated together and then waited until after 10:30 before someone finally got to us. Despite the fact that we made the appointment to get our nails done at the same time, we were told that they would do my mom’s nails first, and then mine after she was done. We made the appointment at the same time to get our nails done together, not for me to watch my mom get her nails done.
This was my mom’s first manicure in probably over a decade. She was excited about it. But they acted like they were so busy they just ran through her manicure in like 15 minutes. It certainly was efficient, but if you’re looking for a more therapeutic, spa like manicure, this is NOT the place for you. I would have taken my mom elsewhere if I had known.
As for my full set, it took almost an hour after my appointment until I was finally seen. The nail tech went through so quickly, I felt like I was a bother. I wanted to ask her to shape nails differently, or point out that they were way too thick, but because she was in such a hurry to get done, I didn’t feel comfortable to say anything. At the end, I waited over an hour after my reservation time for sub par nails and paid the same amount I would have paid at other establishments who actually value customer service.
As someone who works in marketing and customer service, I hope this nail salon can improve in the future. It’s far more cost effective to retain customers than to get new ones. There is a reason corporations pay people to do customer service jobs - it is the backbone of any business and it DRIVES SALES. If you don’t have enough staff to do reservations, simply do not take reservations. If you have six staff members, and six reservations, you should be prioritizing those who made reservations and not accepting walk-ins. There is NO acceptable reason why you should accept a reservation for three people from 10am and make them wait 30-60 minutes to be seen.
Basically, if you are lucky enough to be seen when you arrive, they are certainly very quick and efficient. However the quality of service is not great. If you’re going for a simple manicure or pedicure they should be fine. If you require more, or expect an establishment to respect your time, I suggest going elsewhere.

I've been here a few times but this time was not the greatest experience... I didn't get her name... but she would not listen to me and they app just kept talking in there language (which really isn't a big deal to me usually but it just felt like they were hacking back and forth about me complaining there are more Rodger in my nails than most landscapes.... the art on my ring fingers was really the only thing that was ok but ring finger she fixed she made me a duck nail. I asked her a couple times to not make it so wide... finally I just stopped saying any thing and just paid her and note I'll go home and fix them

Don’t bother coming here expected to be treated with decent service if you’re melanated. After waiting 15 minutes by the door, and 15 in a chair in cold water, a woman with no appt showed up. The rude individual working the front desk ushered this person into a chair, and damn near broke her neck to find someone to start her pedicure asap. I had looked forward to coming back here. Never again. Do better. I wish I had seen the previous review regarding discrimination. If I could leave 0 starts I would.

I have been coming here for quite a few years, but I will go elsewhere from now on. The place is looking tired and worn and the staff was so loud talking amongst themselves that it was opposite of relaxing. I got questioned as if I was crazy for wanting only clear on my fingernails and to top it off the arm massage was rough and rushed.

For a name such as peridot- a rare beautiful gem- I considered myself lucky to have found this place for my nail care, well at least up until a few days ago when I went to get my dip manicure redone when I realized the attendees only regard you as valuable if you are of a lighter complexion. They were rude, unwelcoming and uncouth to say the least, funny enough the first two times I went in for a pedicure it felt like I had to cozy up and put up with the small superficial talk just to be reciprocated with decent service, but it gets tiring especially when you spend your hard earned money and well deserved time. It’s just a feeling that when you get you know it is downright disrespectful and degrading let alone the cackling and whispers which totally and obviously shift the energy from the attendant to the consumer of service (and carries down towards the other consumers). My advice is, save your pretty penny and spend it at a well deserving nail shop who if given the chance to uphold such a wonderful name as ‘Peridot’ they would do so with class, professionalism, dignity and respect. N.B. Glad to see other reviews concerning the issue of color based discrimination which only seems to drive my point home. Know better do better.

We have been going here every few weeks for a little over a year. Every time we get great nails. This time I went for a French tip. These are hand-painted not artificial nails! Great results friendly people!

Today was my first visit here, and I walked in for a gel manicure. They were able to get me in right away on a Sunday morning and provided a great service including hot towels and a massage. Friendly and fast. I will absolutely be back!

These still look great after over a week of abuse.
Every time I visit Kent, I go where my daughter Rozy goes for nails. They actually LISTEN here. I don’t like THICK, so they dip twice, and I have to have them short because I type.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the girls, too, everyone is friendly and courteous.
