Running Stitch Fabrics is a very cute and delightful quilting shop located in historic downtown Kent. The shop is packed with a wonderful selection of quilting fabric from top brands and favorite artists, featuring better fabric quality and design. It carries a wide assortment of everything needed for projects, including notions, sashiko supplies, batting, thread, patterns, books, and more, much of which is not found in big box stores. There are quite a few quilt samples on display. The owner and staff are extremely helpful, super nice, and knowledgeable, offering patient assistance with project planning. They offer exciting classes, such as Sashiko, taught with positive energy. The shop also provides long arm machine rentals after a basic class or offers professional quilting services. While excellent for quilters, it also caters to other crafters with items like floss and transfer paper. The shop has on-street parking that is super easy and free. It is a great local shop highly recommended for a visit.
