Today I took my son to get his prescription refilled, my son has a special condition and a few months ago had a stroke and he can’t stand for long periods of time due to half of his body being disabled. There was a line of 5 people and we lined up to the cashier that had a handicapped sign and we were told that we had to stand in line to be attended even though my son was clearly disabled! I think the workers there should be more educated on the needs of people with disabilities, my son is young but is still disabled and again can’t stand for long periods of time, we were waiting for around 15 minutes.
other people would cut line but would not be told anything.

I had an excellent experience at the pharmacy yesterday afternoon, thanks to Toya’s outstanding help. She was knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Until tonight, the service has been great for many years. Today at 12:30 pm, I was diagnosed with an infection in the lid of my right eye. The doctor prescribed an ointment and eyedrops and faxed it to the Kent Safeway on Kent Kangley. When I picked them up, the eyedrops were not there. I was told they emailed the doctor for the dosage instructions, as the doctor had just entered a squirt in the right eye 4 times a day, and now my doctor is unavailable until Monday morning. With those dosage instructions coming from my doctor, they must be extremely flexible. Now I will have to suffer from the infection getting worse because of the decision of the staff. Thinking of going elsewhere now since the pharmacist wouldn't make a decision that benefited me and not herself...

So this review of mine is only on prices based safe prices are way to high these days my pic low prices us winco the high prices is safeway ...so is getting points for gas 10cents off u goto buy more then $200 of groceries lolol Fred Meyer is 3cents off everytime...the sandwich pic just saying winco 3x cheaper then safeway

I have never had a issue with the pharmacy or staff at this Safeway.
Friendly, quick and helpful when there was an issue with my prescriptions.

Convenience is not in their vocabulary. They do not have hand baskets (other safeway stores in other, even worse neighborhoods do, so don't use that excuse), their carts are clearly never maintained by anyone, and they never seem to have the items I need that I can get at OTHER safeway stores.
When it comes to Safeway Stores, this one is like the neglected red-headed step child of all of them. Even when compared to the one in Auburn (which isn't that bad, and they have hand baskets).
I don't know what's with this one, but it just plain SUCKS.

Too bad service here, the India lady is too bad attitude . The store is closed at 6pm, I am arriving at 6 pm and the pharmacy door hasn’t closed, they didn’t service and let me make a complaint. After working, I came hurry up and last mins arrived, but I only enjoyed the bad service.

I've been in several timea for DoorDash pickups and the staff is always very rude. If this service is too inconvenient to offer then maybe you shouldn't.

What's up with the young white kid working in the deli at the Safeway in Kent, WA on Kent Kangley? Dude is very rude and has a horrible attitude. He screamed at me yesterday for walking over to the deli meats and when I asked for something he told me sliced meats section was closed even though the deli was still serving hot foods (~6pm on a Thursday). I feel like he told me that just to turn me away. Is it worth reporting him to his manager? I know their jobs aren't the most luxurious but man that's terrible customer service. I would never treat one of my customers the way I was treated. Definitely won't be coming back if he's ever working.

I'm posting the incident again because I haven't heard back from Safeway! I called to followed up and there's was no record of my complaint! 17 days ago I contacted Safeway corporate customer service regarding the awful experience I had in the Store listed above! (Lake Meridian Store) I usually don't jump in all willy-nilly and pull the race card just because something is a little weird, it's a very damaging Accusation especially if you're wrong! However, my intuition tells ME I'm not WRONG! I know my experience was the purest form of racial profiling! I feel compelled to share my thoughts! August 27th at about 7 pm I was being perceived as a shoplifter! Your Loss prevention team (Two very young men ) RAN up to me outside blocking me from leaving and asking me to see my receipt!! Which was visible by the way! I asked why am I being detained... The reason I was told..... It looked weird when I purchased my items and walked over to the Deli!!! huh? This reasoning is unacceptable unprofessional and plain D**** The two men realize they made a mistake and started apologizing and by that time I was already offended and extremely annoyed! I was overwhelmed with so many different emotions when I was confronted! I was shocked, angry, and saddened! These Tactics are unprofessional, racially-biased, and perpetuating stereotypes! These young men who stopped me probably were no older than 35 and that's pushing it!! Lastly, what sadness me If we're ever going to change racial bias in this country It starts with young people! Those two young men already have preconceived notions about African-American people which keeps racism and stereotypes! Alive! Shame on Safeway! I won't be shopping there anymore! #00839108
