We had a wonderful experience with this daycare. From day one, we knew our daughter was in safe, caring hands. Special thanks to Ms. Lakshmi and Ms. Mirasol for their warmth and dedication, even after moving away, our daughter still misses them. The entire staff was nurturing and truly invested in the kids. Highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, and loving environment for their child.

Both our kids have been attending Goddard. My little one started at 8 months. I could not have been happier with how safe and engaging the environment here is. There is some churn of teachers but that seems to be the norm around Seattle area for all Day Care places. All in all no issues and we are continuing to send both our kids here.

The Goddard School of Kent has been such an incredible experience for our family. I have two boys there (4 & 1) who absolutely love it there. Our older boy has been there the longest and has made such a big family there. We've even been able to enjoy big birthday parties and other fun filled events outside of Goddard from the community we've built here. The staff here are incredible and always so welcoming when we arrive. They treat us like family. While we are leaving the Kent Goddard due to moving back to our family in Texas, we are fortunately joining another Goddard that is local to our area there! That is how much this place has meant to us and our desire to keep that same community. Highly recommend to anyone considering joining!

Our so has been going here for over a year now. He loves all his classmates and teachers. He is excited to go every day. I have watched him grow and mature so much since attending. He loves telling me all about the things he is learning and I can ask him questions about the picture updates we get. They send lots of photos throughout the day and this helps us to know what he is learning. It has been a great community to be a part of. All the staff know him by name and are so welcoming with their smiles. He is excited for all the special summer activities they have planned this year. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We have truly loved our time here.

The Goddard School in Kent has been an incredible experience for our family. Our once-shy son has grown into a confident, social preschooler who loves going to school. The teachers and staff are so welcoming and caring—we’ve always felt he’s in the best hands.
The environment is nurturing, engaging, and truly feels like a second home. We’re so grateful to the owner and staff for treating us like family. If you’re looking for a safe place where your child can thrive, Goddard is it.

Our children have been @ Goddard Kent for over 4 years and it’s only because of the management and the teachers. I don’t typically write long reviews and only after I wrote this did I realize how long it was. But as a Working parent with kids and I must use childcare. I hope this review helps someone else like me.
We enrolled our first at Goddard Kent during COVID through the fluctuations that are life, they have remained a constant support and reliable resource for our family—it only made sense to enroll our daughter when she was born.
It’s hard to find people you trust with your kids. It’s also hard to find people that are reliable. We have found both at Goddard. We have found teachers that genuinely love and care about our kids such as Ms. Marisol, Ms. Lakshmi, Ms. Dani, Ms. Erika, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Kalen, Ms. Veedy, Ms. Summer, Ms. Zulema, Ms. Summer, and Ms. Taraji, the list goes on.
We have also really been impressed with the management, the owner Ms. Chelsea has a masters in early childhood development and she is incredibly passionate and invested in the work she is doing. The Director Ms. Jenn, I simply have no words—she is incredible. She shows up and gives 110% everyday. She truly recognizes, respects, and values the impact her work has on shaping this next generation of children. Ms. Dasha, is the brains behind the fun, She will help everyone and anyone, and our kids are obsessed with her. Ms. Jatinder is an invaluable resource supporting the teachers.
Childcare is a difficult industry with lots of turnover. It’s inevitable. But the thing about Goddard is that Because the owner and the management care, it means they hire teachers who also care. There’s a reason why they call them teachers at Goddard And not babysitters. Note, check out Miss Erika in preschool 1 and her hand-painted poster of Pete The Cat— or any other number of times I have witnessed the teachers that have gone above and beyond.
For example, There was a friend that was particularly disruptive in one of our kids classrooms— it was undeniably frustrating as a parent in the moment, However, in hindsight the way that management partnered with the child’s parents in that situation with the support of the teacher To advocate for this kid to receive the resources he needed really showed me how much they care. That child was advocated for and supported. Along with all the other children in that classroom.
That’s my $.02.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this school since they first opened in November 2021! My daughter was one of the first toddlers in the toddler room and now she is graduating from Pre- K. The communication has always been excellent, and the community activities and fun events made it feel like more than just a school—it’s been a second home for our daughter. The front office team - Jenn, Chelsea, Dasha - and all the amazing teachers made us feel completely comfortable leaving our little girl in their care. She’s off to Kindergarten in the fall, but I know she’ll always carry sweet memories of her very first school. We’re so grateful for the love and care she received here!

Our Claire bear has been going to Goddard school in Kent for a couple years now and it has been a great place for all of us. The teachers and staff are welcoming everyday. Claire is always excited to go to school and see her friends and teachers. The school and staff do a great job at accommodating diet restrictions. Having celiac Claire can’t participate in pizza Friday's but between us and the school coordinated snacks she always has something available for her. Their awareness to this allergy and others is very well displayed in school and through email communication. Overall highly recommend this school for others!

We enrolled our child in goddard this year, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience so far.
The curriculum is both structured and playful — a perfect blend for young children. Our child has grown noticeably in social skills, language development, and early literacy and numeracy. He especially enjoys the story time sessions and the hands-on activities like painting and building with blocks.
The teachers are nurturing and attentive, always providing updates and photos through the school app, which gives us a great window into our child’s day. It’s clear that they truly care about each child's growth and happiness.
The school also emphasizes kindness, sharing, and independence — values that we’ve seen our child start to embody at home as well.

We couldn’t be more thankful for the loving care our baby has received in the infant room at goddard school of kent. As first-time parents, leaving our 6-month-old in someone else's hands was a big emotional step — but from the very first day, the teachers made us feel completely at ease.
The environment is calm, clean, and thoughtfully prepared to meet the needs of each baby. The caregivers are gentle, responsive, and incredibly attentive. They truly treat the children with respect and care, following Montessori principles even with the littlest ones — encouraging independence through movement and exploration, but always providing a secure, comforting presence.
We especially appreciate the individualized approach. They follow our baby's feeding and sleep schedule, and they keep us informed daily with notes, photos, and updates. We’ve seen so much growth already — she’s rolling, reaching, exploring new materials, and building trust and curiosity in a safe space.
Most importantly, our daughter lights up when she sees her teachers, which says everything.
It’s a place where both babies and parents feel supported.

As a mom of a toddler, I can’t say enough good things about kent goddard!
From the very first day, the teachers and staff made my child feel welcome, safe, and excited to learn. The environment is warm, nurturing, and full of joy. My toddler comes home every day talking about new songs, activities, and friends—and I’ve noticed real growth in language skills, confidence, and social interaction.
The communication from the school is excellent. I always know what’s happening in the classroom, and I really appreciate the regular updates and photos. The staff truly care about each child and create such a positive and structured atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a preschool that’s both loving and educational, I highly recommend goddard of kent. It’s been a wonderful start to our childs early learning journey!
— A very happy toddler mom 😊

I want to leave an honest review about this daycare/school. We had a good experience with touring and the teachers were nice. It’s very upsetting my kiddo had to experience terrible care provided by Goddard. They allowed my kid to not eat the entire 9 hours she was there, stated “babies don’t starve themselves” then didn’t contact me until pick up time. I was furious with them. My daughter spent a week there and did well so idk what changed with their teaching or process. On top of that in the kids classrooms they don’t have microwaves so be prepared to pack your kids cold lunches only. They also don’t feed the kids in the waddlers class, they promote self- feeding even if the kid doesn’t know how to. They told me they tried to feed my kid but then reported my kid didn’t want to eat which I didn’t believe. My kid always eats all her meals and snacks. Another negative thing they don’t communicate well with each other because one admin was calling me and telling me I needed paperwork to fill out and then Miss Jen telling me I didn’t have to fill out anything. So, they need to work on communication. As well as the importance on what things the teachers should call the parents on and when would be an appropriate time. I as a parent shouldn’t have to call everyday to see if my kid ate snacks or lunch. When my kiddo had a rash they require a lot to have the teacher apply it for any kid. My overall experience was terrible and Chelsea Milton didn’t want to reimburse our money since my daughter had a legal document provided that she couldn’t attend the daycare anymore. It’s ridiculous, unprofessional and unacceptable. Parents don’t send your kids here. I never worked for Goddard. Let’s get that straight.
