Really wanted to like this place, as there aren’t too many Mexican markets in Covington, but the space is extremely crowded, not handicap/stroller/wheelchair accessible at all. And they are trying to sell nopales for $11.00 for 5, which is outrageous. I was wanting to try their hot food as well but just felt claustrophobic and left.

We discovered this place because we serve some clients in the area, and we always stop by to shop every two weeks, sometimes traveling from our home, which is 30 minutes away. Previously, everything had been fine; the employees were very friendly and the food was very good. Unfortunately, today we were served by what we assumed was the owner, and the service was disappointing. We bought a product for which we were given a price, and when we told her, she arrogantly and rudely told us that wasn't the price and that it was more. We weren't stealing. I don't understand why she would be rude to her customers. That woman could definitely benefit from some customer service seminars.

SUPER EXPENSIVE!! Don't waste your money here!
You're better off going to Fred Meyer for hispanic items, they're cheaper there than this place.

They gave us a piece of cake hahaha. We ordered chamourrado and they gave us chocolate cornstarch. A bit disappointing, frustrating, since we come from the same country. We know the difference between one thing and another, and being charged for something they didn't give you is outrageous.

I bought a dozen expensive tamales for $42 and the tamales looked like they had been there for several days, dry, well, they were bad.

I bought some prepared food to cook at home and everything I bought was not good at all. The tamales were pretty pricey and not good because they used a lot of flour in the masa and it just tasted mostly like raw flour. The chicharron were so old and dried out that we threw them away.

I live near there, I always went to that store, but I got tired of the meat dispatcher's character, very rude, homophobic and the worst thing was that I complained to the owners and they defended him, it was very disappointing for me. Besides, you go to buy and it seems that you are going to order a gift, they serve you with a face of terrible annoyance… obviously I will never go there…

Overall, the place is really good but there is 2 reasons why I lowered it to a 3. These reasons are really important to me.1. Items to be be overprice. They know they are one of the few Mexican stores around and they prices are on the high end if compare it to other stores in nearby cities.2. Customer service. The people in the cashier need to be more friendly.

YUM. Our new taco place forsure. The flavor on all of the meats is unbeatable in the area. Especially the carne asada. My husband loves the burrito as well. They don't skimp on the portions either. The only thing we haven't been impressed by were the tamales. Everything else has been so good. Mulitas, tacos, burrito, rice, and beans.

Their burritos and tacos are elite. I use to come here all the time with my coworkers when we worked down the street. They use to have such good chicken here, but sadly I haven’t seen it in a long time. Their carne asada though is top tier. I highly recommend either going in early or after 2 pm to beat the lunch crowd. The place is very tiny so it can get crowded easily. There is sometimes a language barrier, but we manage. The workers have always been so nice.
