I saw an employee just playing on his phone by the window department and I asked him if he could help find window privacy film and then he just pretended like he checked on his phone for like 3 seconds then he said "we don't carry them in this store anymore" so I thanked him and walk to window shades and find them. GREAT JOB with the "You can do it. We can help."

I had an issue with a washing machine we purchased at this Home Depot. Manager April went above & beyond to make everything right. Outstanding customer service from her, the delivery team (Angel & Jorge) & Nicole with the Home Depot Appliance Hotline. THANK YOU!

Employees are not very helpful. They will sell you junk and refuse to do returns. Check out takes forever-then when you want to return a tool they will go through great lengths to no return the item. It's like they hate working and it really shows. If I could give this store zero stars I would.

One star is way too generous for the horrendous curbside pickup experience I had at the Home Depot in Kent, WA. I am beyond frustrated and angry with the sheer incompetence and lack of empathy displayed by the staff.First of all, the two associates who were supposed to bring out my order didn't even bother to bring everything I ordered. They were missing 300lb of gravel! When I brought the missing items to their attention by showing the receipt on my phone, their response was, "You're going to have to come inside, I can't read that out here."Unbelievably, they literally started running back into the store. When I finally caught up with them, they were over at a computer terminal laughing at something. I'm glad the situation was amusing to them. They acknowledged the missing gravel and told us, "We'll bring it out here." The nerve! My wife and I were expected to carry out the 300lb of gravel they neglected to include in our order. When they came back, they brought bags of SAND instead of gravel! My wife had to clarify that we ordered gravel, not sand. A colleague eventually intervened, and one of the original associates admitted she couldn't find the gravel and was going to substitute it with sand without telling us. Were they planning to "forget" the gravel and hope we wouldn't notice until we got home? After another agonizing 10 minutes, they finally brought out the gravel. They didn't even have the decency to close our car door and just stormed away. To top it off, they brought a security guard who waited with them, which was incredibly insulting.I called the store to speak with the manager on duty, but he couldn't have sounded more disinterested. Not once did he apologize or show any intention of addressing the situation. The entire experience was infuriating and careless. Not a single person ever apologized for this disaster of a curbside pickup experience. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this Home Depot location in Kent, WA. Their incompetence and lack of concern for customers is inexcusable.

I placed an order for over $3,000 dollars worth of bathroom items, (vanity, tub, tub surround walls. I was told the order would arrive by 15 march2023. I can understand a few days late, but after talking with customer service on the app on the 20th, no one knew when my order would arrive.I received a $150 credit towards my order, that was a thank you moment. The next day, When I finally picked up my order on the 24th, I got it home only to find out it was the wrong tub they sent me with. I double check my order, yes I ordered the correct one. They send the wrong one.I wanted to send it back but the manager told me I would have to pay to rent another truck to take it back to the store. I also had to pay my plumber for his time while I tried to resolve this. Long story short, Im stuck with the tub, because management had no idea how to resolve this or when it would be. Thanks HD.

HOME DEPOT - HOM Solutions The 'Floor Experts' as they refer to themselves. Awwwwww sad, Sad! We began this sad journey in August, and after jumping through hoops, which included Full-Payment in Advance for the Whole Cost of the floor. Including parts and labor. ....and sadly as we SOON learned this cost would include Necessary Parts as well as 'ASSUMED' Parts were needed as HD-Installer had not been to my house to see, Only someone to measure. Oddly enough, HD does not work with a 'group' of contractors, nor do they set expectations or standards of those whom they hire; therefore they don't know the preferences or the protocol...., because ---- there is NONE. Then it came to SCHEDULING... oh My! We were scheduled for September, and sent a mile long TO-DO list, and though appreciated, in hind sight.... Where was their list? we did all we could. Including the recommended painting. Less than 24 hours before the Installer was due, ..... and we had begun to break down and take apart our rooms.... we are notified our installer IS-NOT-COMING! No rescheduling, and NO HOPE OF A RESCHEDULE ! Whoah!.... What? ...... yup! After a couple... and then a few, weeks of nothing, I ask my 'flooring expert' if it is okay to look around for some estimates. Is Home Depot on board with that.... Oh yeah... sure. So, I get my estimates .... 3 of them, and I call my 'flooring expert' and say.... Ok, let's talk. Exactly what are we doing?....... what are our options? will HD pay these other contractors to put this floor in? Will HD cancel my Contract and let me find my own contractor? Will HD cancel everything and let us walk away? Or? We had some serious talks... and they were willing to let us completely walk away.... Without any fees or penalties. Hummmmm........we wanted to consider our options. By the end of that day ... and this is the middle of October now, MAGICALLY, an installer became available within the hour. An installer available for Tomorrow's installation. Humph! The next day I had new floor. That which had been assumed was switched.... And instead of Refunded as promised....They tell me the monies went to 'other' .... Hmmmmm..... we're still working on that one. The floors were done in good enough time. There were no little extras.... Like door transition's.... We had to go out and buy new ones after they left. We also had to replace the baseboards on our own. And now.... I think I understand WHY I got stood up the first time..... could it be? Humph! It's January..... my floor is coming unglued in several areas .... An inspector today tells me the floor will need to be redone. And I ask myself...... is this more games?

If the " free " install and furniture moving is swaying your vote to buy carpet from here...don't let it. First they come measure and make notes about what items they won't move or will charge you for. They never say anything about these items until after you have paid and scheduled. Then comes a call to " review your contract" you either agree to move these items yourself or pay extra. Fast forward to your install 2 months later. There's a hole in the carpeting, your closet door is broken, one closet can't open because there's a broken baseboard behind it , and the contractor left debris all over your house and outside . Oh and a 4 hour Job took 6 because one of the men left for over an hour leaving one alone.

Got to love Homedepot. But recently they cut back on the discounts for veteranas to $300. The warranty on their tools sucks compared to the other hardware box stores. But they almost always have what I need.

An order that I placed in May but still has not been delivered, has an item that is reduced in price currently. I requested a price match for store credit for the difference since I haven't even received the item yet. The rep contacted a supervisor and was told no. Nothing can be done except cancel the order and re-order with the new price. This is ridiculous. Why can't at least a store credit be given for the difference of the price now especially since I have not even received the item?!? This is one way to quickly lose customers, such as myself. My order was for more than $13k and I won't be using Home Depot again for anything. There are so many other places to purchase from that are actually customer friendly stores, which Home Depot is not. The associate gave this message when I asked for the supervisor's name which made the decision. "My name is Kyle and my associate ID is KXA3052." He wouldn't provide his supervisor's name.

I have been a customer of Home Depot for over 25 years. I know where everything is located in their stores. One day an employee asked me if I needed any help finding something. I told him, "No. I could stock this store." He asked me if I wanted a job. I have enjoyed shopping there and have appreciated the discount they have been giving U.S. Veterans for decades. The other day I was shopping and had a cart full of supplies. When the clerk was ringing up my purchases at the register I asked her for my Veteran's discount and showed her my Veteran ID card which has "U.S. Veteran" on it. This is the way they have accepted my Veteran status and thus given me my 10% Veteran's discount previously. She looked completely baffled and told me that she had to get her manager. This person came over and asked me if I had the Home Depot app. She told me it is the only way to get the discount. I showed her my cell phone. It is a flip phone. She said the only way to get the Veteran discount is through the app, turned, and walked away. The clerk who rang up my supplies asked if I still wanted the items. The bill was $185. I said, "No, thank you" and walked out the door. Then I went to Lowe's and bought the same supplies and easily received my Vetran's discount without being required to use an app. It was easy.If this outcome is Home Depot's new policy and not simply ineptness and poorly trained employees they have lost a long time customer. I only my cell phone to make calls and text. I don't need a computer to carry around and don't want to spend the money on a more expensive phone. I'm an 80 year old Veteran D.I.Y. still going strong. In order to get "U.S. Veteran" on an I.D. card or driver's license it is required to bring a copy of your DD-250 (discharge paperwork) to the DMV, they verify it, and then add it to the card. While a customer may choose to use the app to receive the Veteran discount employees should also be able to look at a Veteran's state issued I.D. or driver's license notating them as a U.S. Veteran. Having customers do the work that employees used to do saves companies money at the expense of alienating customers.I would like to know if this is indeed Home Depot's new Veteran's Discount Policy. And, if so, is there a work around for those of us who do not have tech advanced app-able cell phones? If not, Home Depot is DISCRIMINATING against older, senior, poorer Veterans. This is the opposite of what offering the Veteran's discount seems intended to do.Discouraged Veteran D.I.Y. in Kent, WA

If you value your time do NOT shop here. We remodeled our vacation cabin and wasted 6 trips of our contractor to the Lake Bay store and 4-5 for ourselves. just for buckled flooring. The flooring issue was never resolved. With all the money we spent they could have easily comped our inexpensive floor and still made a ton of money. Delivery crew was unable to get down our narrow road with the larger truck No problem they loaded the stuff in our truck and off we go. Now the crew starts to leave expecting me to carry in the items. I had to call them back to unload. No wonder our contractor preferred Lowe's. More recently we purchased a major appliance. They give you a 4 hour time window - even Comcast does better. Even with the 4 hour window Temco was late. The outsourced delivery crew scratched the appliance. This was just the start of the frustration. We were told to call a number. So we called a phone tree and were disconnected 3 times. We ended up making a visit to the store. Why does the shipping company not start the process of obtaining a replacement? We still do NOT have dryer. Numerous employees claim they can only do one thing. The poor processes and lack of employee training is readily apparent. They has not been any attempt to fix any issue we have. Our neighbor has experienced similiar challenges and is on first name basis with the manager.

What a horrible experience!! What a headache!! I ordered in store 6 boxes of laminated wood to do my stairs on 3/10. Waited 3 weeks and went to pick up at the store. 3 out of the 6 boxes were damaged. The associate said she will re-order the 3 boxes for me again. I've been waiting and called in several time. The first associate told me it will be another 2-3 weeks until I get my items. Called in today after 5 weeks of waiting and was told that they don't have a delivery date yet. They are not sure how long and there is nothing I can do. What a waste of my time. I have bought everything for the project and now have to haul them back to return and look elsewhere.

What a waste of valuable time. They keep everything behind bars and locked cages. Okay, I get that, but then why not give all the employees access to said cages? I waited over 15 mins to be helped in garden. I just wanted to buy a chainsaw. I was told by two different employees that they would "get someone who has access to help" and that help never arrived. So I went online and bought one from a competitor, while standing there waiting. Then I left, and no one said a word. It'll be here in two days. Took me 5 minutes to buy it. So if you want to know why online is destroying brick and mortar business, look no further than this Home Depot. Needless to say, I value my time more than Home Depot does, so I will not be returning. All they had to do was sell me a chainsaw. So simple, and they still blew it. Hard.

kent Home Depot is the worst! When you go in, all the employees run from you! No customer service! When you call in, you're in this revolving vortex of hell! Put on hold forever and then can't get an answer. Then when you apply for credit, and mine is good, your denied. I purchased a specialized front door for my home in June and paid cash cause I was denied credit. Tell me why I'm still waiting on it and it's the end of October? Then the store manager is an idiot trying to tell me poor excuses like I'm a fool cause I'm a woman! Be straight with it and practice customer service! Last purchase from me ever!
