Never take equipment from a third party location. The truck was a piece of junk for a one long haul, the cup tray was broken chewed by an dog, the arm rest was broken would not open and they refused to help with the car tow equipment needed for the vehicle I was towing. The wipers didn’t work while it started raining on my trip, no wiper fluid, the truck would jump for about 2 minutes when taking off. A good amount of my property in the truck was damaged due to this truck not being properly maintained and serviced for this trip. The truck was far from a “Gentle Ride” for a 45 hour trip. I called Uhaul several times during my trip to complain about everything going on with the truck from the brakes to the wipers. Some representatives wouldn’t even leave notes on the account to state my concern. When it started raining and I couldn’t see the speed limit was 80 the brakes were squeaky big rigs flying past me going 80 because I couldn’t go over 50. I called Uhaul they told me they would contact roadside to come meet me 😒 never happened. It took me 9 hours longer than it should of taken me to reach my destination.

The store operates until the regular office hours, closing at 6:30 PM. Returning the vehicle after 6:30 PM is not possible, and there is no key drop-off feature at this facility. Importantly, this information is not displayed during the online booking process.Staffs are great, Vehicle worked with no issues.

There are more then 5 trucks of 15feet available on the location but the employee don’t want to help and says nothing is available and I’m Mclondon employee not the U-Haul, so go to the auburn location to help you. It’s disgusting with their behavior.

I would recommend the Auburn location but NOT the McLendon's location in Kent. The 20 foot vehicle that was assigned to us was NOT inspected before they gave us the keys to drive away in. The Drivers side rear wheel was slashed and rim had a huge dent and was FLAT. Clearly NO ONE did their job checking it in. It was a safety issue that concerns me the most. The closest location was in Auburn that had another 20 foot. They were nice and helpful. BUT I had to take more time to go to that location because of U-Haul's lack on safety.Also, the individual checking us in and discovering the issue kept saying that they can't control what happens in the parking lot as they sit there. Is this how you want U-Haul to be represented? Clearly this did not happen just sitting there and if it was did it just happen that morning after someone inspected it to be rented. Poorly ran location.

The staff was so friendly. I forgot my documents inside U-Haul truck, came back after two hours and the staff treated respectfully and returned the documents. I recommend this place for U-Haul services.

Had a good experience renting a truck here. Staff was helpful and were accommodating when I needed a couple more hours than expected. Location is not closed, the deck is inside McClendon Hardware.

uhaul location is closed, but still listed on google and uhauls website as available pick up location for rental trucks.
