People there was always nice to me, and patient with me when I didn't understand stuff, as I'm not good at shipping stuff.

Perfectly lovely post office. I ship from here all the time, and have never had an issue. Staff is nice and helpful.

I'm not sure about the bad reviews but from my experience, things are fine here. The ladies are helpful and have been nice to me everytime I've gone which was quite often for a while since my address wasn't showing up in the system.
