I love this place. Thank you so much for all you did for my Goofy boy. You did so much to help him these last few months. He was his spicy little self up to the end. This picture was from Saturday. He was watching for food to hit the floor.

Dr. Walsh has been Sammy’s veterinarian since we moved to the Seattle area. I’ll never forget the first appointment when we walked in and Dr. Walsh immediately got on the floor to greet Sammy at her level and put her at ease. Throughout the years I can attest that I have been a very overprotective dog mom and tough client, asking lots of questions and worrying about every single thing when it comes to Sam. Despite that, Dr. Walsh has consistently helped me navigate all the test results and information with the utmost care and guidance. In 2020, Sam had mysterious high vitamin D levels with no clear symptoms. As the world was turned upside down, Dr. Walsh partnered with me on research, talking with the veterinary community, and sending out lab samples to specialists. Most recently, a mass was discovered on Sam’s spleen making for hardest week of my life as I was getting X-rays, an ultrasound, to eventually emergency splenectomy surgery. Everything was moving so quickly, and Dr. Walsh made herself available during such a busy time of year to get me the resources, referrals, and information quickly so I could take care of my girl. She messaged me first thing on a weekend with the news. By God’s grace, the mass was benign. The veterinary industry has been rocked by so many challenges the last few years since COVID. As frustrating as it can be for pet parents, these vets, vet techs, and staff are all working tirelessly every day to fill the need and increased demand because they love animals and our pets as much as we do. Give patience and grace to these superheroes who are giving their best every day to serve their community. I’m so incredibly thankful for Dr. Walsh for everything she has done to give my girl the best life. To the staff at VCA Kent who know me and Sam by name, thank you for being our care team and for making us feel seen and a part of your family.

WA State rules now apply 2023.All animals are suppose to be vaccinated against rabies to go to the groomers. So I tried to call to get my senior dog in to be seen knowing the clinic prices are pretty high. Thank you to the pandemic. So I tried yesterday to make an appointment the lady answered the phone and put me on hold. Then she answered my call and hung up. So I called again. Phone kept ringing No answer. I already found another place to go for his vaccines. Everywhere it's hard when a lot of places don't do walk ins. Appointment only. I guess that's guaranteed money for them. Yay pandemic ...

we can't begin to say how much we adore every person here!!.. All questions, concerns, and options are always covered with care and respect- we have never felt rushed (even at the end of the day)... to say they have taken magnificent care of our three "kids" (2 cats 1 dog) is beyond an understatement... THANK YOU!

The clinic is very clean and welcoming. All the staff are kind, responsive, and very patient with my nervous pup. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for vet care in the area!

If you have a nervous dog, this is the place to go. From the first phone call, I explained my situation and felt understood. Great accommodation to get an appointment same day.Once at the clinic, the great experience continued with no pressure for my dog and all positive reinforcement. They understood my individual situation and were able to give me great options as well as alternatives/ other resources that could help me.Completely reasonable cost for the time they invested. I will definitely be going back here for my future pet needs! Very please with the experience.

I went to four other vets unfortunately before finding VCA Kent animal hospital. No vet other than than the one I saw here took the time to discuss all of my dogs issues and possible treatment options. They are thorough and empathic. I definitely recommend.

It's taken me a few weeks to write this. Took my cat in, they said he was fine and charged me $200. He died the next day.

Inherited a mutt from a friend that was ill that died unexpectedly. The dog always seemed to be healthy and energetic until a week ago or so. The staff here couldn't be more awesome. I was expecting long waiting periods and astronomically high prices (like with people docs) The staff was superb! Went above and beyond with pup and helped me save a ton by suggesting that the pet insurance that I recently purchased wasn't a good fit financially. I'd love to list there names here but I'm an Old fart with some memory issues. Thanks to All of you for the stellar job.

I’m going to post this again because you guys deleted my last one. I came here to have my rabbit checked (called and confirmed, yes they do see rabbits) and was told the my rabbit had a stomach issue. The vet that saw my pet was very deceptive. I was told that the cause for my rabbit s issue was his overgrown teeth. They were trying to charge me over $600 for it, for sedating and apart from that they wanted to charge me again to get a second opinion from another vet! That just tells me that she wasn’t very knowledgeable. I declined and found another vet that told me that it was an easy appointment and got it done for $30 and they said that it doesn’t require sedating AND they didn’t try to squeeze every dollar from me by “needing a second opinion.” PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH, and make this place a last resort, because I almost got ripped off.

I have never had so many issues at a vet in my life. Either they don't call you about an appointment reminder, or they forget that you called to schedule an appointment, and say they don't have any record of it. OR they'll schedule an appointment for you without your consent in the middle of your work day. More than once I have been sitting in the parking lot with one of my cats, waiting for them to get it together. Their communication is absolutely terrible. When I actually get an appointment, they seem to be finding more and more diagnoses which end up costing me more and more. I loved the VCA in West Seattle and expected the same service once I moved. I am finding a new vet immediately.

After getting refused walk in and same day service everywhere I had called, my cat was not pooping and was in a lot of discomfort. The other vet places called didn't consider her situation a emergency. They wouldn't let people come inside and would only check in at your car if you had made arrangements. This place took her in less than 2 hours after I called, and was very detailed in collecting as much info about her to help with whatever issue she was having. They walked you through everything before moving forward. They offered the best resources and was willing work with us for her bill and offered a few discounts and got the visit for $25 besides whatever else was needed. They were not in it for your money, they were all about the pets concern and what was best for her. They even clipped her nails and got the hair mat off her back for free. We had a hard time removing it at home because our cat wouldn't let us come near it, unless she was in a deep sleep. All staff was nice, we'll spoken and seemed very sincere. I don't think they could have made it any better. I was very happy with their services and made you feel comfortable with leaving your pet with them. Also we had something not work out and ended up help us through their lunch break just to clear things up and to get her in. Our cat could barely stand because it hurt her, when we took her home she was nugging us and was at out feet soo happy. That's when I figured, even our cat was thankful. They follow us next day with a check up call if she had a procedure done, and any follow up visits are free.I had other pets and taken them to other vets, and no other place could compare to these guys. Hopefully others have had the same experiences with them as well. When we were soo stressed and worried because our cat had a fever of 106 and I believe she wouldn't have made it another night, they made it as easy as possible for you.Very thankful..

okay, so medically wise & the quality of taking care to fix our sick pets, I'd give zero complaints as the timing, thorough, & careful with the animals. But the pricing is absolutely outrageous!! we are in the pandemic & loss of employment and if we have an emergency we have to go to VCA, because can't get into regular vet would would do the same exact thing except you'd pay half of what you charge here.

The staff I interacted with define "the extra mile". Their customer service makes the difference. Dr's Newman and Brockett, and Vet Tech's Lacey and Hannah were just awesome to my dog and so patient with me when I had so many questions. I asked for partners in my dog's care, and they have been just that.
