I just watched a lady working here, her name was Patty I think, severely talk down to an elderly Filipino man and his child. she very rudely said "I took it off!" when he asked about a part of his purchase. She then proceeded to talk shit about him with a coworker literally right in front of him.

Terrible place to shop. Rude employees and the store has limited options. The produce is just as disgusting.

Horrible service and blatant lying in my face. when I ordered in Fred Mayer app, the person that took out my groceries was not kind nor nice in helps with resolving the issue they themselves created. they brought fewer items for which I payed and they just told to deal with the issue on phone with customer service. when I came up to them to try and resolve the issue with the manager, she just closed the door in my face with the words "we already spent enough time talking about this issue".

Don't ever buy anything at Fred Meyer. They are a bunch of scams! Purchased some candles online and they were on sale. The receipt shows the correct amount but they charged the full price. When we asked them about it, their customer service said that they charge on the price when the items are pick up. They won't refund the difference.

Bought 2 crabs for Christmas and turned out they were bad. Called the store to see if I could return without a receipt, got thrown away...and customer service said no problem as long as I had UPC sticker....great so I went back to store and was told no way can I get my money back without a receipt... It was $58.00 a d I would have been happy with a store credit.. Nope...nothing...this is such bad customer service and I will NEVER go to this store again...its an example why Walmart,Safeway, and other major chains are better than this...Fred Meyer shame on you for screwing your customers.

Prices are fair in today's market. But many times their items don't ring up correctly. Then you have to stand in line at the customer service, where one clerk has a line of about 10 people at any given time. Having to wait for 20-30 minutes because of an error of theirs is frustrating. This happens quite often. Needs to be fixed.

I was shopping for Instacart here, at 11 am April 2nd I had two separate orders and was scanning at the self checkout. My first order only contained 7 items so I used one bag for that order and forgot to put 1 bag for 8 cents. I started scanning for my next order and while I was in the process of scanning and bagging my second order the worker that was working the self checkout came and started looking at my receipt that I had placed next to me and literally yelled at me for not paying for the bags. I don't even know why she felt the need to check my receipt without asking, I scanned all my items and I forgot to purchase the 8 cent bag. The order was not even for me I was delivering it for Instacart so I was not trying to get out of paying 8 cents for a bag. She yelled at me and told me she was going to ban me from this Covington Fred Myer for EIGHT CENTS. I would of gaven her a whole dollar. Her attitude and how she handled the situation was not okay. I only gave her attitude back because she was extremely rude. I wish I had gotten her name and stayed and actually talked to a manager. That is not how you handle those situations. It was a mistake and there's no need to raise your voice and treat someone like that over a 8 cent paper bag.

I didn't think any place could be worse than Renton Fred Meyer - but unfortunately, this place is competing : no carts - because they're all outside in the corrals or spread throughout the parking lot. I regularly see shoplifters come into the store w/bags of their own, so they can put their stolen goods inside. Or - they just walk in, grab stuff, and leave with it in their arms. Many - just load up carts and leave b/c nobody is going to stop them and they know it. Most of the employees are trying - but many don't even care anymore b/c there's just not enough staff for all the work. Customer service is a thing of the past. The parking lot is a mess b/c of all the transients who loiter and due to the store allowing their employees to smoke it up near where all the shopping carts are stacked; who wants to walk through all the clouds of smoke so they can get a cart? It's so sad what I've seen happen to this store over the years. Thank you state Legislators - I hope you're happy with what you have done to this beautiful city. I will shop in Maple Valley for now I guess: by the time that location is ruined we will hopefully be out of this State.

old, dirty, and understaffed. I was told their customer service desk closed at 5:45pm until 8pm to give their employees lunch break. What manager sends all of his employees to lunch at the same time?

The customer svc dept needs to implement a limit as to the number of money transfers they will do at one time for customers. My husband was waiting in line for 20 minutes to cash 2 lotto tickets. As of this post, he has still not come out. It makes for a long wait when getting a refund or exchanging an item. I've had problems, as well, with people cutting in line to be with someone else to do a money transfer.

Somewhat recently remodeled...which means I can't find anything. Like many other Freddy's, they've decided to put their alcohol into its own area with a register just for alcohol purchases...while still having things tucked behind cases. If you want beer you can take that up to the regular register with your grocery. The other stuff? I don't buy it here anymore unless it's on a really good sale (which actually happens!) Fred Meyer has all the things that you'd expect to find at a grocery store. Interestingly enough I can find things at Auburn that I can't find at other Freddy's, but this store doesn't appear to have anything special that I can't get else where. Overall it gets the job done nicely and the prices are pretty on par with the rest of the grocery stores. I like the fact that they're starting to use doors for the cold sections. It's Earth friendly and I'm basically a lizard, so I enjoy not freezing as badly!

Clean store. Floor is rough and cracked. There's a decent selection of produce but a lot of empty shelves. The self checkout helper took 15 minutes to come remove the security tag from the reusable bag so I could finish checking out.

Normal grocery store, lots of produce choices, good signs for the aisles. Self-checkout is fast, okay prices, good sales for weekly ad items.

This review is for Taera (I hope I spelled it correctly, the person had a unique spelling to it) This nice person was working the side entrance by the nursery exit. She was very kind and helpful and she made my day so I wanted FM to know. Thanks Taera!!!

This review is in regards to the meat department people. It's highly unprofessional to close early. I was there at 6:20pm to get bacon for my weekend after my long shift at work. The lady proceeds to help some people in front of me get shrimp, but then tells me they're her last customer even though I can't think of any place that closes at 6:20pm. Also how hard is it to just help a customer real quick?? I work retail and I help people past close all the time because that's just basic customer service. Next time I'll stop by Safeway or drive the extra 15 minutes to the Fred Meyer deli in Auburn because at least those people are nice and competent at their job.
