Overall customer experience has been the worst since the local office closed. We have ran out of propane even after being told our request had been expedited over 3 times. There was no response au to contact the actual distributor. Then the next delivery they took over a month deliver gas.

Update: AmericaGas addressed my concerns. Charges were reversed and the replacement propane was delivered Free of charge. Thank you!The tech did not close the vent valve on the tank when he filled it and 1/2 of the new propane went into my home. I have contacted customer service and still have not received the propane that owe me as well as a reversal on the charges to fix their own mistake!!! The tech was also about a week late in filling the tank. Unsafe practices and poor customer service. I’ve done my duty to warn the public!

Would give a negative star rating if available! It is running in the negative temperatures and we are out of propane. They have missed their delivery date by weeks, and keep telling us they're on the way and will be out "today" or "asap".Calling does no good as you can only get through to call centers in other countries. Tried to talk to a manager as we feel like this is an emergency, but they were "in a meeting". They then gave me a number to call for emergencies, which was a non working number. We will be canceling and finding a new company, as their service has been very unreliable and ridiculous.

Easily the worst company to deal with. We ordered the expedited shipping as it was an emergency service and paid the extra $300 and they said it’ll be delivered the day of. Then they said 24 hours. They’ve been saying “today” going on the 4th day now and we have no hot water or heat and it is currently -16* outside with still no propane.

Tried to set up an account with Amerigas, scheduled my appointment for mid day. Same day I call to ask where they will be at. They tell me they won’t be out to survey out site until 7:30pm. Almost 7 hours later than anticipated. I took the day off to sit around and wait for something that was never coming. WITH ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION. 7:30 comes and goes and no one shows up. We get a call 3 days later to ask us about our appointment. Right there I immediately canceled. According to the other reviews, glad I dodged a bullet.

These posts reflect exactly my feelings from before a year ago until now. I am afraid I am one of the most angry persons for what I have learned. Their call center now says they are out of Ohio but they are staffed with foreigners not in the USA. The accents gave them away and I got one of them in customer service to admit he was not in the USA. This is worse than you think. Our personal data and addresses and banking etc all done electronically our data may be in China. Once in China they own our data in their minds and can do with it what they will. THIS is a fact of law, so know this about every app for every gadget made in China that rewire you to hook up via internet that users agreement is tricky.

2 weeks ago I prepaid 800 for propane they missed the delivery date on the sep 22 and still have not delivered my propane! They don’t respond to emails nor the 800 phone number messages either!

I’ve experienced a lot of frustration with Amerigas/ Northern energy from excessive hold times, if someone answers, consistently inconsistent information as well as a huge variation In pricing (3tanks to fill on property) $2.39-3.69) and $75 in “fees”. 3 week delivery after order placed & notification of 20% remaining! EXPECT THIS!

worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm on auto fill yet every winter I run out of propane. I had to call them 3 times and email them twice to even get on their emergency delivery and I still don't have propane and don't know when I will receive it.

Did anyone read the new contract? To quit AmeriGas you will be charged it's either a $250 fee for them to pick up their tank, or $350. So, they've got you coming and going.

I have been a customer many years but since they changed to automated status, you can't get ahold of anyone. And they don't come in the timeframe they told me. Now I'm low on gas and they are overdue.. I will use up my reserve money they already got from me,then say goodbye to them..
