About Saltwater Bookshop
Saltwater Bookshop is a local, women-owned, independent bookstore. It has a wonderfully informed staff and owner and is really friendly and welcoming. The store has a focus on children's books, local interest, and cookbooks, plus fun sidelines and other bookish items. The collection gets more robust every day, with a wonderful and great selection. The excellent and diverse children's section has no shortage of POC stories, and there is a section highlighting Indigenous writers. It is a nice compliment to the other used bookstore in the same shopping center. Connected to Borrowed Kitchen Bakery, visitors can enjoy a coffee and a treat while they peruse. The shop offers easy ordering and a LibroFM option for audiobooks. Educators receive a discount. It is a lovely little store, making for a really nice stop.
