This Safeway needs to stock their shelves on a regular basis. I have gone in several times to get something, and it gone. There is never anyone at the customer service desk to help. The pharmacy staff all but Kelly are rude. Safeway needs more staff. Maybe if they started people off at a decent wage, they would retain the help. Safeway is the new 7/11

Took away our Albertsons its new, but not better in many ways. More expensive is #1. Less options more Safeway brands. The Deli is wayyy more friendly though so that's good!!!! Fresh baked bread is about 1/4 smaller now but we pay the same price .

Close to home but they need to keep closer tabs on expiration dates and dropping the extra covid pay wasn’t fare to the employees who on the front lines especially since there is a very bad surge ongoing where would you be without them ?

Safeway workers are choosing to wear transparent face shield rather than face masks, thereby protecting only themselves and not their customers according to several studies at MIT and elsewhere.

They have giant price tags, but that isn't the price you pay, unless you download the app, scan the tag, then.... oh forget about it, I will just shop somewhere that has the actual prices on things. The last thing I want to do while grocery shopping is have to use my phone as a upc scanner like I am putting together my wedding registry for $0.90 worth of soda.

While the staff is very friendly, the store is severely lacking. You can rarely go in and get everything you need. The produce is pitiful. Like it is what Safeway no longer wants on their shelves. Why can Central Market get good avocados at a good price, but 80% of the time Albertsons avocados have brown streaks when you cut them open...and they cost more? And why can't we get fresh seafood? And now the brands offered are diminishing and in their place are the "Signature" corporate brand items. Need some better sourcing. Going to start driving to Poulsbo to shop.

My boyfriend and I were just shopping at Albertsons and bought some pretty expensive steaks and when we got home they weren't in any of our bags. I called Albertsons and she tells me she will go check it out. Then comes back to the phone a couple minutes later and tells me no one turned them in and that there was basically nothing they can do. I'm not one to get mad with this kind of stuff but we spent good money on those steaks and they were for Christmas eve. I feel like something more could of been done since I just spent money on nothing now.

I am giving the 1 star for the Pharmacy only, unfortunately I can't find a separate rating site for the pharmacy only. I had the most frustrating experience today at the pharmacy. I went up to the counter to add my name to a wait list for the shingles shot. I noticed, right above my head and all the way down the front of the section, there was dust hanging down from the pull-down shades that come down at night. I was shocked at how filthy it was. I said to the woman behind the counter, "do you see all that dust"? she said "yes, how can I help you". I said, it's pretty unsanitary considering there are open pill bottles being measusred out, she said "how can I help you" I said "maybe you should call maintenance, she said " we have, how can I help you"? I said, well, I was going to get a shingles shot here but I'm concerned about the cleanliness of the place, she did not respond. I asked for the managers name and she threw her head and said "over there". Finally, another woman called out to me that I should ask for the store manager at the front desk which I did. The store manager comes up and walks over with me. I pointed out the dust and he said, "oops, I forgot my dust broom". Then as we were walking back up front he tried to joke it was a Halloween prop, then he said he barely saw it, I had good eyes! At no time did he say, I will take care of that. I mentioned the potential health hazards and he basically ignored me! I am still shocked. I shop there about 3 times a week and if it is not clean when I go back on Friday I will call the health department.
