I've just had my first visit under the new owner (Marlene) whose other (Amadeus Beauty & Barber) business I have use normally, but my favored stylist (Rose) was on vacation. The cut from Reynaldo was very professional and all the staff were keen and courteous. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the price reasonable. I'd happily go again.It certainly didn't have the drama of the old Bombaii Cutters, but then my datapoints there are 20 years old.Service: Haircut

Possibly the worst haircut I ever had. And I'm not particularly picky. But this time my wife spent an hour with scissors after the visit trying to make me look decent. But not much could be done.

All good things come to an end, and thus is my patronage of Bombaii. I've had great service with stylists who are no longer working there, and my most recent was with a perfectly nice, but inexperienced (and non-English speaking) technical college student. Communication was a problem, and I was charged the same as with an experienced stylist.Time to look for a new place.Service: Haircut

Loved loved loved Tara. Best hair color and cut I've gotten in years. Then I get an email that owner, Debbie, has sold the salon and then get a phone call from her that Tara has left. Would I like to reschedule with someone else? No. I now live about an hour away from Kirkland and the only reason I was coming back to Bombaii was because of Tara. Really a shame that she left.

I'd give this place more than 3 stars given the situation. My root treatment was perfect and provided by Sindy. My issue was that she was 20 minutes late and I was not contacted. This resulted in a $60 parking ticket. Not happy Debbie.Service: Hair coloring

I am giving this salon 3*, not because I didn't get a decent haircut but because of Debbie's surcharges. An extra charge if you use a credit card, $5 per client (each time) for Covid-19 cleaning. I expect any salon to be very clean, regardless of a pandemic! I have friends who stopped going there because of these extra charges. Credit card surcharge should be posted so that one has the option to bring cash, if possible. Charging for Covid is just a money maker for the salon. Figure how many clients per day times $5 over a month's time. Sweet! I am going to think hard about returning, which is unfortunate because I liked the stylist. How many clients do the stylists lose? Go figure. Not their fault.

TONI IS THE BEST STYLIST I'VE KNOWN IN 22 YEARS! I've moved around a bit the last ten years never satisfied with the haircuts I've gotten. Now I'm close to Kirkland again so of course I see Toni for cut, trim, color.

i came in with my brother to get our haircut, it went fine i got what i wanted but for some reason the stylist just left my hair as is to air dry (mind you i have frizzy curly hair and told her i put product in when i leave it to air dry) when she was done cutting my hair. however, my brother didn’t get what he wanted and had to correct the same stylist 2 times as to make sure he got what he wanted, but gave up and didn’t get the mid fade he wanted. we looked at the prices before going in, expecting to spend max $65 for the both us (especially since the stylist didn’t spend anytime blowdrying or styling our hair and it was my younger brother’s first time there) and ended up dropping $100 + an undeserved $5 tip. i don’t even know why we had to pay that much, it’s a ridiculous amount for the service we got - haircutter’s first choice or any other salon would’ve been a better place to go for a haircut to be honest. in all honesty, our experience was really disappointing but we learned from it and we won’t be coming back - just wish we could get a partial refund or something.

The quality really depends on the stylist. I used to come here years ago and was happy with it. Unfortunately, I came back last year, and when I asked for an asymmetrical pixie (a cut I had gotten a couple of years before but it had lost its shape after the stylist I was using left the state). The stylist I saw here responded that there was only one kind of pixie. I almost got out of the chair at that point, and probably should have. The cut she gave me wasn't bad, but it wasn't at all what I wanted.Service: Hair styling
