This place is located in downtown Kirkland by the waterfront. There is free customer parking in the back. When I went around 10:30AM on a weekday there was no wait and the service was friendly.

So I was running errands on Friday around 3pm I stopped into the bank because I needed to grab some change since the French Bakery couldn't break my 100. I walk in and there was a guy in front of me. I patiently waiting about 10 minutes and then I walked up to the desk and I greeted the woman asking how her day was and she didn't respond just stared at me with this condescending look, I was taking back and then just asked if I could get some change and still didn't say anything to me so then I said how I would like it (20s, 10s, 5s etc.) and then told me that Chase doesn't do that...and I asked what do you mean you don't do that (I had just gotten change from them the other day) she's we don't give change, we just changed the rules a few days ago....um what? What kind of bank doesn't give change? Hello you are a bank?! Terrible customer service from this woman. Was so taken back and disappointed how this was handled. Definitely thinking about joining a different bank...thanks Chase.

I got an offer in the mail for $150 if you opened a new checking account. I went in not thinking that it would not take very long to open an account. That was wrong! It took forever and not for the actual opening of the account but because the rep was so busy trying to pitch me all the other products he wouldn't get back to entering everything in. Except he didn't directly ask if I wanted them. He was digging for information so that he could plug their products. He'd ask, "Do you have a credit card?" I made the mistake of replying yes. "Well we offer a credit card that..." He went on until I interrupted him and said I don't want a credit card. He continued to do the same for investing, auto loans and something else. I think the actual process of getting an account would have taken 10 minutes and instead I was there for almost an hour. While he was polite it just felt like a huge sales pitch.

I was running errands in the area and needed to get my bank statements. On a Friday afternoon, the staff were friendly and patient helping me with my inquiries and request. The only thing was a bit difficult for me was parking. However, I was lucky enough to get a parking spot just across street from the bank.

I am giving this branch 5 stars because if the nice staff there, great people, and very nice little branch. My rating has nothing to do with Chase's policy overall with high fees and their refusal to help homeowners modify their mortgages. This only has to do with the branch and the friendly people that work there.

Chase sends out letters and communications that if you keep a certain balance in all your bank accounts, your checking account won't be charged a monthly service fee. That's in the fine print. Well, that's not completely true, per the branch manager (mentioned many times in these reviews) and, if you don't like it, he doesn't need your business. I'm sorry but the majority of Chase employees are so impersonal and rude...a complete change from how it used to be. Now you are just a nameless number and you need to pay them to use your money.

Branch: I wish I could give Seth five stars- he was very helpful and nice. Chase: What is it with random fees and Chase? I switched my account when I found out they were going to start charging to avoid fees. Turns out, they conveniently didn't switch over a portion, charged me $40, and weren't going to fix it without me going in there. Chase- get your act together please!
