Excellent store! This is the best Fred Meyer on the Eastside. We started coming here more often about seven months ago, even though there are others closer to our home. The employees are very helpful and pleasant (Linda at self-checkout; the ladies by cosmetic bags and first aid). Every time we go in, it is fully stocked with the freshest items in produce. Every department that we have been in is great. Keep up the good work, and teach the other stores that they need to strive to be more like you. Your store is the model for all the other ones in the metro area.

The store itself is really good, in was there for jewelry repair. I decided against having it don't. The shop wanted $60 to solder a clasp on a $100 pendent. Obviously, at that price, they didn't want the business.

Typical grocery store, workers are nice and overall always find what I’m looking for. Will say they can do better cleaning in certain parts of the grocery side of store

The sushi stand products are super expensive for what you get. Although it looks good with the closed box, the sashimi pieces are super thin, 2 slices of ginger, and whole lot of rice to fill you up.

Loss prevention... not everyone is stealing. You shouldn't make one of ur paying customers uncomfortable by following and staring for no reason. Hope you felt silly once u realized u were wasting ur time.. update nothing has changed... Still nothing has changed it's almost to the point I don't want to even shop at this location anymore because they make you feel so uncomfortable by following you around 3rd update: I only come to this location now for my prescriptions selection is very limited or just not restocked or reordered and lost prevention needs to take a step back they're driving away paying customers

The woman who worked the self checkout on 01/13/2024 was extremely rude to my mother and I. She’s a self checkout lady with short dark hair. The workers at Trader Joe’s would never treat us this way. When the self checkout went off for a third time she suggested we use the regular check out next time instead, which is extremely rude. All she had to do for us was scan her employee card so we can keep checking out and she acted like it was a major inconvenience to her. I work in customer service and I would never imagine treating someone like they are stupid WHILE giving them an attitude at the same time. 0/10 customer service experience.

Our family shops here regularly, and we've been happy with the prices and selection. I do appreciate the beat-up fruits bin (behind the bananas) because I can buy overripe or dinged up bananas for baking or smoothies. The store also sells close to expiration fresh foods (mushrooms, salads, pre-packaged veggies, baked goods, etc) at a discount. The discounted bins by the freezer aisle is also fun to check out. The costs for basic produce like eggs and milk (regular and soy) are a bit cheaper than Safeway and Whole Foods, which I appreciate. The store also has a nice garden section in the back, a large section for toys, some hardware and camp items, clothing, shoes, and a decent section for bedding, cooking appliances, and even picture frames to school supplies. Oh, and there is an electronic section as well! There is always a lot of parking, and more recently, a line of brand new Tesla car chargers were installed in the parking lot.

You need to bring back paper bags with handles. My Mom has arthritis and its hard for her to grip paper bags without handles. Please start selling red vines black licorice I hate going to Safeway. Also please start selling Cascade Fruit Co. Jam particularly raspberry its local and better then other jams.
