I came to this location to donate a Shabby Chic end table and the person told me that he wouldn’t take it because “nobody would want to pay money for that” LOL. He also stated that it was “discolored.” I explained to him that it was a style and he said “Yeah no one will want it so we can’t take it here.”I wasn’t aware that Goodwill was searching for a “specific style” of furniture to accept as a donation. I didn’t argue or question. I simply placed it back in my car and happily took it elsewhere that will happily accept an item that someone else will appreciate.

So I drove there after work, arrived before 6 pm, and found a hand-written note scrawled on the door: "No power. Closed." And the lights were on. Not a soul in the store. Customers came driving up, found the cheap note on the door, and left. No message left on the phone either.Open until 9 pm on weekdays. Right.

This is NOT the charitable thrift store of your childhood. These scumbags are for profit only, Period! Dude literally took a donation into the back and looked it up on Ebay in front of me. Plenty of legitimate charity organizations to donate to. GREEDWILL!

My husband and I don't go to Goodwill stores often but this was a special occassion as we were collecting children's books to be mailed as a gift to one particularly good school in Ivory Coast in Africa. We were very impressed with a clean, well-structured and perfectly maintained store and found a good number of excellent books. But what was even more impressive is the attitude of the supervisor Eric with whom we were lucky to meet. Eric exemplifies best customer service traits, being friendly, open, and generous. After he heard about the reason of all those books' purchase, he gave us a substantial discount and invited us to come again. Eric shared his business card with us and overall made this trip to the store truly inspiring and unforgettable. I waited to write this review until I knew that all three boxes arrived safely. They did, and the first thirty children received their English books to read and enjoy. Judging by their faces, they are very happy. Many thanks to Eric again! What a gift to meet such a wonderful customer-friendly store supervisor.

The selection here wasn't very good in men's clothing, tools/home improvement, electronics, housewares and appliances but I happened to find four things that I was interested in the problem was three of them didn't have a price. I decided to take them to the register anyways just to see but the cashier wasn't authorized to decide what the price should be and had to call a manager. This is what I would consider normal but after paging the manager and not getting a response for seven minutes the person helping me attempted to ask someone else but then the decided to finally respond by saying that she was taking care of it. After another two minutes she finally arrived and it took only 30 seconds to see what I had and tell me the prices but then it took a few more minutes to ring the items in. One of the items I purchased was a pair of pants for work but I forgot to check the size and it turns out they were in the wrong section so they didn't fit. Since I've not tried to return anything to goodwill before I called before driving over to confirm that I'm able to return them but was told that item's are required to have a tag. I mentioned that they were purchased without a tag and the receipt states that but was the person I was speaking with told me that it cannot be returned. I then told her that I was not informed about that policy when I purchased them and she responded by saying that I would to go and discuss this with the manager to see if an exception could be made. She then proceeded to end the conversation quite abruptly with what I felt was a dismissive tone.

Was ok. Nothing extravagant. Was clean enough. Could use some more organization. But I've seen much worse.

The pricing here is getting as bad as the Bellevue/Redmond location. I guess Goodwill has forgotten it is a thrift store for “the pours”. I was in here tonight and saw a current production Lodge 12” skillet for $19.99. Later, I was in Fred Meyer just down the way in Totem Lake. The exact same skillet, except brand new was $24.99… SMH

There are nice things here donated from people who live in the area who are upper middle class but everything nice is also very overpriced. After shopping at the Everett and Seattle Goodwill outlets this store doesn’t even come close.

Check your receipt before you leave the store. Sometimes they do mistakes on prices and items without price tag.Today I was charged $15.84($0.99 per piece) for 16 random forks and spoons, wich usually are $0.19 per piece. They were marked as kitchen utensils instead of silverware. I had bunch of other items in my cart and that's why i didn't notice the mistake when I payed the total price. But I saw it on my receipt when I got home ....so I guess my bad.The otherwise I love $1.99 Monday sale.
