Heritage Park is a very beautiful park with amazing views of the lake and water, offering nice scenery. It is a great open space with lots of open grassland, native plants, and flowers. The park is fantastic for relaxing, walking, picnics, volleyball, and tennis, with plenty of picnic areas and a well-kept playground. It is dog-friendly and popular for dog exercise. Visitors can spend hours on the trail, with plenty of places to stop along the way. Some note that parking can be limited, blackberry vines occasionally block views, and facilities like toilets are not available. It remains an unbelievable place to walk and unwind.
Great park. Bummer I didn't make it down to the water.
