I walked in here with a payroll check with a printed signature by my employer printed J.P. Morgan chase. Perforated tabs and all with my hours worked and taxes included. I work for a widely recognized public entity. The front end manager by the name of Esther denied me cashing my check that was only 400 dollars for no reason. She Decided without even looking at my check that it was fake, upon her own discretion and for no reason whatsoever. denied my transaction Then lied about the services provided. Very poor customer service. Will be complaining to customer service.

Living nearby, this has been our regular family grocery store for over 10 yrs.
Sadly, we see a consistent down-slide in how this store is Managed & Run.
There are several hard-working folks, doing there best to provide a decent customer experience, despite a clear lack of support from Mgmt & HQ
This morning, yet another in a long list of frustrations trying to shop in this store.
It’s Sat morning about 9:45 & store is busy but not over-crowded. Many folks with moderately filled carts. But, NO CHECK STANDS!! Zero!!
Every customer is expected (forced) to do Self-Serve Checkout.
There’s a queue of at least 4 folks with full carts waiting. There’s only 1 employee trying to manage the mess & solve problems.
There’s not a Manager in sight to Help customers, or Fix the issues, or even Support the overwhelmed sole staff person.
Just 1 more of the frequent incidents at this poorly managed store.
The customer experiences here in Kingsgate are so lacking when compared to similar shopping at the Juanita or Bothell Safeway stores.

Disappointed at 1-877 number customer service, it was system's problem my phone number didn't work for discount, it was on Monday, I called on Wednesday, they cannot pull up the discount detail, unable to help. For now I don't feel to shop at Safeway , we have many other choices.

They sell customized breakfast burritos made hot at the deli counter for 3.99... also have a croissant option. Best deal around for breakfast

This Safeway pharmacy saved me when I had a massive migraine come on while visiting my mom. My prescription was back at home. The pharmacy filled it very quick so I could get relief.

I went in today at 9 am. I picked up a few things and went to pay. No checkers. Only self checkout. I hate self checkout. Especially since I have moved away from using cards as cash is not fun to stick in the machines. So I left and went to Fred Meyers. To my surprise every item I was purchasing was less expensive and they had checkers to ring things up and bag. Good bye Safeway. I won't be back.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I placed an online order which I was unable to pickup due to a loss in the family. 16 days later when I realized I had not received a refund, I called the store and was told I needed to call customer service. I did so and was told I would have to wait 5-7 business days for a refund. On an order that was never even given out!!! Every other store that does online grocery pickup will automatically release your funds if the order is not picked up in a certain amount of time, but not Safeway! It gets worse too. By the 7th business day, I still had not yet received my refund. I called CS who refused to escalate my issue until the next day, as it was still the 7th day (even though it was 9PM). DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM SAFEWAY. If I hadn’t noticed that I did not automatically receive a refund, they would have just kept my money for items they had never even sold, which is super shady, not to mention their CS has no empathy or care for your situation, refuse to escalate a call even when the situation clearly warrants doing so, argue with you, and is wholly incapable of helping with your issues from the get. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
