I visited the shop during Nowruz, which might have been a busy time. There was only one staff member working, and he seemed a bit tired, possibly due to the holiday rush. The check-in process took some time. The staff member wasn't particularly welcoming, but that might have been due to the circumstances. Compared to other Iranian shop I've visited, this one was slightly more expensive.
Overall, I liked the shop itself.

Good place to buy these type of grocery items. Persian mainly & middle eastern food items.
Small foot print store. But shelves& isles & are loaded with so many good choices items, and large selection.
Fresh, canned, dry packaged, and frozen food items items
Service level & friendliness is variable . Depends how it gets viewed
Convenient location.
Large parking lot

Everything is overpriced and the owner gives 0 efs about customers. Sadly, another local Persian business that I refuse to support for bad service and high prices. Just a 2-hr drive away across the border, everything is cheaper, and there’s way more variety. I’m grateful for that option, whewww!

I love this little store, it is packed full of specialty Persian and “middle eastern” products like in every nook and cranny. Some things that I like to buy here include: rose & orange blossom water, saffron, smoked basmati rice, slivered pistachios, dried culinary roses, sumac, shredded halva/Turkish cotton candy, sugar cubes, baklava, zatar seasoning, salty yogurt drinks, etc. The spice selection is phenomenal, as is the rice selection. I love the convenient location in Kirkland, I don’t have to trek to Bellevue or even Seattle. There is even a Persian bakery and an Eastern European/Russian grocery store in the same shopping center, so you can make an afternoon of it. The only disappointing thing is that more non-Persians like myself don’t know about this hidden gem!I’m not sure why people are saying that the man who runs the store is rude. He has always been exceptionally kind to me. His English is slightly limited, but he still manages to attempt a conversation with me every time I shop in his store. He’s genuinely a sweet older gentleman. Perhaps he suffers from a little bit of RBF and his voice comes out a wee bit gruff, but here’s a hot tip: don’t judge a book by its cover and try being nice to more people in public spaces and you’ll be surprised at how well they respond in turn.
