  We have found everyone at Sound Planning Group to be knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with. Loren Downs is our advisor, he takes the time to listen to our goals and talk through options. The SPG team does quarterly meetings that provide us with detailed insight as to what is happening in the the financial markets and what may happen or what to look for. We have found these to be very beneficial.

  Cody Crawford is our key advisor in helping us prepare for retirement with setting financial goals and come up with an exit plan from the work force. Early retirement is possible with the right support team guiding you through future taxes, explore other savings opportunities, health care and the challenges of daily living cost on a fixed income.

  We’ve been using Sound Planning Group for the past nine years for their financial advice and services. They are definitely a top-of-the-line company! We’ve had personal interactions from the front office to the CEO. Everyone, and I mean everyone, has been friendly, helpful, and makes you feel welcome and that what you have to say really matters.   I’m so thankful my husband and I were referred to Sound Planning Group by a family member two years ago, and we’ve been working with Loren Downs ever since. Loren has been extremely knowledgeable (and patient!) regarding all of our financial decisions and questions, and also very personable and enjoyable to work with. He listens well and tailors his suggestions to our risk tolerance and tries to make sure we understand the pros and cons of every decision we make. And we have been very satisfied with the results. We have found him to be very honest as well—working in our best interest even at the cost of his own. For example, though he will definitely caution us about making what he considers a mistake, he has at times also encouraged us to loosen up a bit and take money out of accounts he manages (less commission for him) to more fully enjoy our retirement rather than worrying excessively about having enough. He has made a great plan for us and we really feel we can leave the worry to him which is a huge blessing. Whenever we have questions (and we can have a LOT of questions when we’re faced with a large financial decision), Loren is always patient and gets back to us promptly—often even late at night. We’re so thankful we were already working with him when it came time to actually pull the trigger and retire. I can’t imagine navigating the decisions about when to retire and how to start using which funds to maximize the results, much less manage all the timing issues of the Social Security/Medicare sign-up process, without all the analysis and direction from Loren and those he put us in contact with.
  
  We have also appreciated the regular State of the Market informational seminars. We come away from those knowing that the suggestions from Loren about what to invest in come from a thorough study of all that’s currently going on in the country, even the world, by the group of very seasoned professionals on the team.
  
  Based on our experience with Sound Planning Group, I would highly recommend them to give honest and financially sound advice to anyone who needs it!

  We have been the recipients of beyond outstanding service from SPG for years. Their abilities, their unquestioned integrity and their advice has been and is sought whenever we have questions - and they, especially Loren and Mark have been quick and reliable to reply - always with outstanding advice and solutions. In all the years we have been with them we have never questioned their decisions and help, and have recommended them to others.
  
  This is an organization that can be trusted, skilled, knowledgable and well worth investing your time and resources with. I do not often provide recommendations, but int he case of SPG, I do so with pride and honor.

  I attended a free financial seminar/talk at Bellevue college presented by SPG. It was purely informational, rather helpful. I later attended one for Medicare to help myself prepare. They were so inspirational that i contacted SPG and met with them. One of the best moves of my life.
  Cody, CJ & Caitlyn are so helpful (and friendly)-explaining everything & following through at every step. No other investment group has done better for us (financially) or given us really great options as well as making us feel comfortable and in control. And their extended resources (like Victoria for Medicare help) is invaluable.
  You don't just get signed up & ignored, either. You have continued support. How many people can say their financial group actually cares about them? I can say mine does.

  I had been with Fidelity my entire working life, and always assumed that was the best option. That changed after I attended a retirement seminar, where my conversation with Sound Planning Group (SPG) began. From our first meeting, it was clear they were different—they listened to me. Imagine that!
  
  I met with CJ Lovsted, and he has been absolutely amazing to work with. He put together a comprehensive financial plan that truly reflected my needs and goals. Just to compare, I called Fidelity and told them I was thinking of leaving. They said they could do the same thing, so I gave them a chance—but what they delivered didn’t even come close to what CJ and SPG had done.
  
  With CJ and the team at SPG, I didn’t just get an advisor—I got a team of experts who actively monitor my financial future and are always there when I need them. They’re responsive, proactive, and incredibly knowledgeable. The results have been outstanding.
  
  I recommend CJ Lovsted and Sound Planning Group to everyone I know. My only regret is not doing this sooner.

  I first learned about SPG when I attended one of their retirement seminars, which was fantastic! I was a bit nervous meeting with them in person because I had tried at least five other advisors from various firms and banks and did not like any of them. When I met with Cody Crawford, I realized that I had finally found someone with the understanding and expertise to overcome my fears and apprehensions. Cody was very patient and thorough, and answered every question and concern I had. Cody not only cares about our financial security, but he also cares about me as an individual. I retired 14 months ago confident in the financial plan Cody and his team designed for me and my husband. I trust him.
  
  SPG has an approach to retirement planning that works. They provide “state of the market” quarterly meetings and numerous other methods to communicate what is going on in the financial world.
