I experienced discrimination at this store. It has been many months since the harassment, but it still hurts my feelings.I went to have my hair done for my graduate school graduation, and Brittany, the Elite Stylist described on the website, wasn't really skillful with my hair. I kindly asked her to fix my hair as the braid on my left side looked so unbalanced to the one on the right side. Also, the final outcome of my hair looked more like bridal hair with a huge fancy bun, and I had to tell her that was not my expectation. I had told her that I wanted more of a casual look for my graduation from the very beginning.Not having my desired look was not an issue at all. It can happen at any time, right? But when I tried to ask her to fix my hair in the kindest manner possible, Brittany didn't seem to listen to me at all. And at the end, she asked me, " So, what language do you speak? I will bring someone who can translate for you." I was shocked at her response but tried to be calm and told her it was not the right way to handle my complaint. (And of course, I don't have any problem communicating in English)The store manager(Anthony) came to me and told me that there was nothing wrong with Brittany's reaction. The store manager had a big smile on his face while dealing with this situation. I knew there was nothing I could do when I saw the manager's reaction.I emailed the Ulta Corporate Customer Service Center but did not hear any response. Now I know no one at Ulta takes this kind of discrimination seriously.I want them to be more educated and sensible on the topic of discrimination because it is simply not the right thing to do.

Absolutely useless store pick up system. Ordered one item while I was at the gym for an hour because I needed something and didn't have my wallet so I figured I could pay online with paypal and just grab it. Store pick up in website says "within 2 hours." Maybe I'm dumb - but to me within 2 hours means up to 2 hours. Came in after an hour at the gym on the off chance that it was ready figuring if it wasn't I could just grab it or have someone help me grab it then go. Apparently they do it in the order orders come in which makes sense but there's no way to view all pending orders and there was also no way for me to just cancel it because I had to go. the cashier with the dress up devil costume at the front just looked at me like I was an idiot because she works for a store that has an absolutely inane online pick up ordering system. Like it's beauty products - I'm sure they're not backed up by 2 hours for beauty supplies. The store was dead. Useless ordering system. Condescending employee. Just ordering from Amazon from now on.

Brittany at Ulta Kirkland (Totem Lake) is a color genius! She has been my go-to girl for my hair for nearly 4 years now, and we've done the hair color spectrum from blonde to red to magenta, blue, purple, teal, orange, you name it (I'm currently a beautiful, rich rose gold). She really knows her stuff! Brittany also does excellent cuts and styles, and is very consultative, working with you to get you where you want to be.Reminder for all current and future clients though - hair is often a PROCESS and a COST, so be realistic and be patient! No one goes from black box color to platinum in one, two, or even three sessions! And for the love of hair, treat yourself to nice products!

Ugh, dealt with a super rude employee today. I don't come into a store to spend my hard earned money to have some rude employee try to make me feel bad. I will go to Sephora, never back to this ULTA.

This Ulta is great, the staff is always very kind. But for the love of god, they need to get some kind of signage in place that directs people on where they should be lining up for checkout.The amount of times people line up in the wrong places, and you get cut in line because there’s 3 different lines forming and nobody has any clue where they should be… it’s ridiculous. Zero direction provided and there’s really no obvious spacing to indicate the correct area.

I came in there to pick up my order. The lady there made me say my phone number and she was repeating my phone number so LOUDLY even after I told her I'm not comfortable sharing my phone number. I asked her to scan my Ulta member id instead she told me the scanner was not working. Wonder how do they scan the products if the scanner was not working only!.I wish ULTA had other ways to input in phone number by the customer or they get their scanning membership id machine working!

Jessica is a very nice and professional who works at Ulta Beauty. She is very polite and friendly who makes you feel very comfortable when she is doing your laminate eyebrows. I highly recommend her for an eyebrow session.

Walked in to purchase an item. Was helped by a woman that walked me over to where it was located. She told me it’s best to provide my phone number at checkout. Mine is unlisted so I asked why? She said it’s best for tracking and if you don’t want to provide your own please use someone else’s number. I said I can’t just say no thank you? Nope! So I walked out. People need to stop tolerating “you must, you must”. If it’s such a benefit, that woman can use her own number. I left. Sale lost. In the words of Julia Roberts, big mistake. Huge.

Was just at store, looking for hair product. Three employees were in department discussing what they were going to order for lunch. Even after loudly commenting no one offered to help they ignored and did not ever offer to help.

I thought I had finally found a salon to have my hair colored. Well that didn't last long! I've had my hair done there in Woodenville several times after my last visit the color didn't last. I called went in No Problem the stylist assured me she would fix it on my next appointment At no cost to me the next time. To be sure the money isn't the issue. However and for some reason No appointments for me are ever available. Apparently the stylist is too busy all the time. Something I haven't seen before. I find it strange. No store manager will return my calls and the Corp off is trash as well. I'll spend my money elsewhere, that's an easy fix

This store has nearly anything you want or need for your beauty rituals. The only reason for the 4 stars is because this location tends to run low on a lot of in store stock. They carry much more online which is great, if you like to buy your stuff online. I like to see products in person and test them if possible. It's not quick and easy like shopping online but it raises the odds of me getting something I won't need to return. Overall I love this place and any beauty addict will enjoy their experience here and won't walk out empty handed.

Realy terrible salon gal, she is w out any skill and rude, if your unsatisfied w a sloppy cut she will charge u again to correct her error which ive never seen before? Ive simple needed another inch taken iff a week later and never been charged instead told if i wasnt satisfied it is a free touch up? Tgis place has terrible review’s some are downright disgraceful
