I scheduled an appointment +24hrs in advance for an oil change at 4 PM yesterday, expecting smooth and professional service. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my oil change could not be performed due to a shortage of technicians. This was not only inconvenient but also surprising, as I received no prior notification of this issue.The lack of communication was particularly frustrating. The service department, which closes at 6 PM, had ample time to inform me of the situation, allowing me to make alternate arrangements. This oversight reflects poorly on their commitment to customer service and respect for clients' time.I’m disappointed by this experience and the store's failure to uphold basic service standards. Such unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy are unacceptable, especially in a service-oriented industry.I hope this feedback prompts a reevaluation of their communication practices to prevent future customers from facing similar inconveniences.

So happy with my service team! I appreciate that I always have the same service manager who reviews my car and gives me recommendations, including "you don't need that now", rather than trying to get me for every penny possible. Friendly. On time. I have to say with all the cars I've owned over my lifetime and all the various service teams, this one is by far the best!

I could not be happier with my experience here. Alex the sales person was really helpful and took the time to find me the right car. I was looking a two different models of car and comparing the features they all had. Alex took the time to find me the right car with all the features I wanted. I will for sure recommend all my family to come and get help from him for their next car.

Daniel, in Service, is absolutely fabulous! They are always so professional, the work is always done well, and yesterday my bill was less than quoted, as some repair/maintenance items weren't required after closer inspection. I trust that I'm never being over-charged, and that is so often not the case with car maintenance/services places. Daniel is kind, polite, knowledgeable and always willing to talk me through the priorities vs my budget. I trust this dealership with my sweet little VW Bug. They are a great team!

Watch out!Watch out! Watch out! if you drop your car for service at there, your car will be back to you with at least a damage!(i will bet on that) This is my whole experience with VW of Kirkland. The dash got damages since they wanted to restart the computer. left 4 punched points under the doors because of putting the jack for lifting my car at the wrong spots for me and a touch up on my side mirror. it seems they hired some 6-7 years old kids to take care of the cars. So careless, irresponsible, just want to finish the work only and nobody monitores the technicians at all. For dash, i reached out to Tony (Kirkland customer service) , and he wanted to fix the broken parts and scratches by heating and glue. since i was not happy, i had to pay $365 to buy (airvent, gray trim and another thin trim under the gray one) the parts, and $100 for detailer. For the punched points under the doors, the good car body shops around me were not interested to fix them since the process is a headache! and for the touch up, Just heard sorry!Poor management is obvious in VW of Kirkland!if you still would like to work with them, check your car inch by inch before leaving the dealership! definitely they left a gift for you! after leaving, they dont get any responsibilities and you have to pay from your packet ! last thing and important thing, dont waste your time with the customer service! they do nothing for you! instead of that, spend your time to find some else to fix their arts!

Customer service was great. I went in for an oil change recently, but also needed new wiper blades and the sunglasses compartment’s button was broken. No appointment, so I went in Saturday morning. All issues were fixed day of (I was surprised they had the spare part for the sunglasses compartment, but I do not think this will be normal). John was very helpful the entire time. He gave me helpful information on the current status of my vehicle and how I can take better care of it in some ways.Why not 5 stars? Two things: non-promotional prices and dirty car. To discuss the former, I normally do not come here due to the high prices of service. To me, the prices they charge for new wiper blades/installation and the oil change are a bit steep. It does help the oil change is an annual maintenance where many places it is actually 6 months. I just think that my car is not a luxury vehicle (which is not to any offense) and I don’t really think I should be paying the same prices for these services that my friends with luxury vehicles pay. This is why I came here when the oil change was purchased as a promotion for $74.95. Secondly (very minor), I was told that my car would be cleaned and vacuumed, only for neither to be completed when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. And yes, I arrived over 30 minutes after I was notified my vehicle was ready for pickup. John also spent another 10 minutes finishing up my paperwork despite me being notified well in advance to my arrival, but I was not bothered by this I just find it worth sharing in honesty.Overall, my experience with John was great and the mechanical service was quick and quality. The prices without a promotion are something I actively will continue to avoid and I will appreciate in future visits for them to fit in the cleaning that was promised.

- Friendly staff, but not knowledgeable about vehicles. Do your own research before visiting.- Long wait for price quote. Prices are higher than other dealers. Check other dealers’ offers for better deals for the exact same vehicle.- Good for a casual chat and test drive, but not for serious car buyers. Look elsewhere for knowledgeable staff and fair prices.

Overall solid car buying experience at VW Kirkland! They maintained excellent communication with me from start to finish. Travis S worked hard to get me to where I wanted to be price wise and got me in the perfect car for me. Overall friendly staff, nice facilities and selection.

Matthew L. at VW Kirkland treated me with the utmost respect. He explained everything thoroughly and took a generous amount of time answering my questions and explaining the buyer's inspection I went in for. The inspection was detailed, Matthew's advice on my upcoming purchase instilled confidence on my solo purchasing adventure. If I lived closer, this would be my go-to dealership for sure. Also, I really appreciated having the door opened for me. The little things!

The sales consultant I worked with was wonderful. I appreciate that they made the buying process so easy. I was offered a fair deal for my trade-in and didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. I wish they had been able to offer the $500 discount that was available online but that would be my only “complaint”.

I drove nearly an hour to this location because they had a battery for my 2021 Jetta and they were the only VW location that had it around Seattle area. I had just spent over four hours at the Auburn VW for an oil change and battery swap, and they instead without telling me did my 30k mile service. In the end, they didn't even have my battery (after saying they did) and gave me back my car, dead. I had to jump it. Awful service.I came up to the Kirkland location still pretty upset but honestly, even the phone interaction I first had when I called to check on stock status and if I could be seen the same day was great. Everyone was very friendly over the phone.Getting there, I was quickly greeted and treated with kindness and respect. All the work was explained, actual papers were signed with regards to what would be done and my car was ready within the estimated time frame. It saved my day! I was told by Auburn VW I would have to wait at least 3 weeks or longer (they said "if you're lucky a month") for a new battery and that not a single PNW VW location would have it. I get shortages, but they also said if I replaced it myself, I would void my warranty. That is ridiculous to expect me to be without transportation for an unknown length of time and to joke about it so carelessly.I need my car for work and VW of Kirkland, you saved me! I will always be returning to your location, even if it takes me an hour to get there!

Bob was great! We were in and out very quickly, and he was very attentive and helpful. He had several options waiting for us to test drive, and we felt well-informed. The financial lead was also very informative, especially in regards to the particularities of Volkswagen's as vehicles. We were thrilled with our purchase!

I came in for a quick oil change after being told via phone I could walk in without an appointment. Upon arrival I was told by Daniel that they were fully booked for the day. I looked online to see if they availability for another date, I looked at the same day out of curiosity and they had multiple appointment times available. I then booked an appointment same day and was helped by John who was actually pleasant to work with.The more disturbing bit about this interaction is, while I was waiting in the lobby I heard Daniel say to multiple people on the phone that oil changes were booked months out in advance. This obviously wasn’t true. The website also, encourages customers to CALL for an appointment and not book it online. Maybe this is due to staffing issues, which I understand but I would like some honesty if that was the case.The dishonesty I experienced in addition to the multiple reviews of a similar tone makes me question the integrity of this dealership. I’ve been a VW customer for over 10 years and always felt taken care of by their dealerships. I’ve received complimentary car washes and topping off of my gas tank and this dealership didn’t bother.

Took the ID.4 to service for the door handle recall. The process was clear and straightforward, from scheduling the service date to picking up the car after the inspection. My service adviser, Kenny, was very helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. The whole thing was handled professionally.

I had a great experience with the sales department. Luis went above and beyond in putting a deal together fitting my needs. He was knowledgeable, understanding, and overall nice person. He earned my trust the first few mins coming to the dealership.
