A delightful experience that I highly recommend. The two-course breakfast was a highlight, beginning with a fresh fruit bowl and yummy scone, followed by a beautifully crafted cheese soufflé, and served with chicken sausage and roasted vegetables including locally sourced ingredients. The innkeepers were warm and welcoming, sharing stories about the inn’s history and providing unforgettable service. A nice spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Visited with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Suddenly regular bed and breakfast experience appeared to be a hidden gem find. Many thanks to our friendly hosts John and Joan.

The owners were both so lovely and personable. They each provided great recommendations on things to do and places to see, to the extent we almost completely tailored our plans to what was recommended and couldn’t have had a better time. The two breakfasts we were served were both incredible and easily qualify as two of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, especially on vacation. The inn itself was adorable, cozy, and very well-kept inside and out. La Conner was also a wonderful easily-walkable town with unique shops, great food, and character aplenty. We had such a memorable experience and believe Katy’s Inn deserves the credit. Thank you!

It's such a lovely house with an amazing garden. The host and hostess are very accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. It's the perfect location to leave the car parked and explore LaConner on foot. I would highly recommend it.

Great stay foie that area of Washington. Went to Diablo Lake area, Whidby Island, Desolation Pass?.
The Inn was comfortable, good location, great breakfasts. We will be going again next year.

“Perfect location: short walk to downtown La Connor, sunset view, quiet setting nestled among flowers. Great amenities: Gourmet two-course breakfasts, wonderful beds, cushioned and heated outdoor cabana. The owner hosts, John and Joan, were welcoming and available to answer our questions about outings and restaurants. Overall, Katy’s Inn delivered the restful break we were looking for.”

It is a quaint historic home close to downtown LaConner. The farm to table breakfast is served family style in the formal dining room with beautiful floral table settings. The only downside was we stayed in the rose room and the bathroom was down the hall. All other rooms had the bathroom in the suite. John and Joan were wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend it.

The beautiful flowers and the cool temperatures made me so happy! I loved sitting out on our little porch off the Captains Room, on the wrap around porch in rocking chairs. There was a cozy blanket in every chair. Just the perfect setting for a delicious cup of coffee. And there was always a good supply of fresh coffee.
A couple of afternoons we spent in the gazebo. One day drinking Washington wines and another taking a nap. Breakfast was delicious and sometimes decadent. John and Joan took great care preparing local fruits and veggies and accommodating dietary restrictions.
I enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast. Lots of laughter in this group.
My only complaint is that I only got to stay five days. Can I go back now?

Katy's is exactly what a lovingly maintained Victorian B & B should be. This historic home has everything you need if you are looking to get away and decompress. We were welcomed with homemade cookies and tea, enjoyed the garden, sat by the gas fire pit in the evening and read on the veranda in the morning. If you have mobility concerns, you need to know that most rooms and the front porch are accessed by a stairs and do not have TV, but the high speed Wi-Fi was strong. For us Katy's was perfect. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. And then there was the gourmet breakfast! Curated and perfected recipes for breakfast with a different menu for each morning of our stay. John and Joan are exceptional hosts who delight in sharing their home with guests! We look forward to coming back again!
Walkability: Short walk to downtown shopping and dining.

We spent 5 nights at Katy’s Inn. I loved walking the front walk to the front door with flowers everywhere. Joan is an enthusiastic gardener. John and Joan were wonderful hosts, and they prepared fresh, artful and delicious 2 course breakfasts. They obviously love their Inn and created a lovely place.
We used their inn as a home base for several activities. We enjoyed the scenic Chuckanut Dr and the Oyster Bar. We drove 13 miles to Anacortes to do the Orca tour, and we saw Orcas! It seemed we saw 6-8 Orcas coming to the surface, around 25 occurrences. We also took the Anacortes ferry to Friday Harbor. We drove 15 miles to Deception Pass bridge and the Rosario beach. We did the La Conner Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum which I was surprised at the stunning contemporary creations. La Conner’s Wood Merchant store also has incredible creations.
And we were there July 4 and from our balcony we saw 3-4 hours of fireworks that surpassed any I’ve seen. It seemed finales were happening every 10 min.

We had a wonderful stay at Katy’s Inn over the 4th of July. John & Joan were very accommodating hosts and their breakfast spread was absolutely delicious.
There was an amazing fireworks display which we had a phenomenal view of from just outside the room on the balcony. I would highly recommend staying there for a July 4th getaway.
La Conner itself is a nice small town to get away to, we enjoyed the wineries and restaurants. Katy’s Inn is an excellent place to stay if you visit!

My friend and i spent 2 nights at the INN. The rooms were as described, and sparkling clean, as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. We were in the Captain's Suite--with quite nice views. The bedrooms were small but there was a lovely living room and almost infinite outdoor space in which to sit quietly. I had dietary needs, which the hosts met cheerfully, and without sacrificing flavour. Finally, they even mailed a post-card for me--I had misunderstood something and thought they'd offered but they just did it anyway. The location is really close to the heart of downtown, too.

What a wonderful experience at Katy's Inn. Joan and John were so much fun, so accommodating to our needs. We stayed two nights, our room was clean and comfortable, the cookies were great, and breakfast was amazing. Great restaurants close by, all within walking distance. We loved how they took time in the morning to explain the breakfast menu. You could tell John and Joan just love what they are doing, and you could feel the love. Thank you for making us feel comfortable like family. We had an amazing stay.
John and Tammy.
