Pioneer Park is a nice little park near LaConner. It is a great venue with a nicely kept picnic area, a shelter, and a fireplace. The park offers trails and a great hike up through the upper park, across a bridge. It is nicely shaded with lots of shade. Visitors can walk down to the beach portion for a view of the rainbow bridge and the water. There is a salmon slide, and the park features interesting history. It has running water, ample parking, and super clean washrooms. The park is dog-friendly.
