I had a package delivered/Jammed in my mailbox at 643 Mucklshoot Circle from Amazon delivered by USPS and literally had to cut the cardboard box off of my mailbox!

Used to be nice... a warm, small town post office... until, a new *temporary* Post Master arrived recently. Without warning, and shortly before Christmas, this PM decided to arbitrarily decide an address that has been used for years is no longer valid (an address associated with the Tillinghast Mail & Business Center) (note: the ladies who own and run the Tillinghast Mail & Business Center are awesome, I'm only speaking of the Post Office). So, this has left our elderly mother, recently widowed, living in a care home in town, not receiving her Christmas cards and mail... what she literally lives for. All of her mail was sent back to the senders with red pen stating to omit the street address of the actual place where her personal mailbox is and just put the box number... again, the address she has successfully received mail at for YEARS. Could this mail not have actually been delivered to her box, as it has been for years? Was there no other option? Could the mail have been placed on hold while my Mom was notified of this change WITH AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE CHANGE SO SHE COULD MAKE ARRANGEMENTS? Also, making the USPS waste its time and tax-payer dollars mailing all these items back to the original senders makes more sense? (And the government wonders why citizens have no faith in them.) This is short-sighted and mean... and not appreciated... not what you expect from a La Conner organization. Merry Christmas to the new temporary Post Master... La Conner's new grinch (clearly not a local).

I've lived all over the country. This is one of the best little post offices with the most helpful people that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

We have a PO box. It didn't take them long to figure out who we were when packages arrived.

You don’t typically expect much from post office employees but this location makes up for any poor experience you’ve had in the past. Amazing, friendly, they will get you your mail!

I've had a superbly wonderful experience with this post office! Traveling through, getting General Delivery mail ... they have been speedy, efficient, professional, and cheerful ... above and beyond expectations. Thank you so much, Debbie and Sarah!

This post office is always patient and helpful! We've been shipping for our small business through them for 5 years with no issue. We feel close to the employees and appreciate everything they do!

The front desk clerk is pleasant and helpful. The wait at times leaves something to be desired but overall usually a good experience.

Extremely lazy employees. They don't know how to do there job properly or promptly. I use to work in logistics, I know how it works.

Helpful to find, but there is NO phone number for me to call in order to check on mail arrival. : ( I like being able to find the info with Google search, know that I can go to La Conner & find 125 1st Street right away.
