I was traveling on the West Coast (I’m from NY) and needed to renew two prescriptions that day. It was hard to be sure using the app, though a phone call to one store enabled me to verify the medications were both in stock and also ready for pickup in a short time. They were very helpful and had all the needed info on what other stores had.

Had to wait in line 3 times over the coarse of an hour and a half for a prescription to be filled. Said they would be ready in 30 minutes but 50 minutes later still don’t have them.

For some reason CVS won't hire more staff and it's affecting the customers! CVS Lacey didn't have any employees show up for work and CVS Olympia was closed too but also Olympia location is usually a 1 hour to 5 hour wait for your prescriptions!

This pharmacy is terrible. They open at 9am and at 9:13 no one in the pharmacy. It is dark inside and the doors are down. They send me texts my RX is ready then I come and they say they don't havethe medication and I need to come back. Then why did you text me my RX was ready???? They don't care.

This has to be the absolute worst pharmacy that I ever used! It seems as tho the male pharmacist likes to play games with peoples meds !!!

Service has declined over the years and I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or just lack of care. I moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy only to be told by my insurance that CVS is their preferred pharmacy, so I moved them back. That process has been awful. They do not call, email or notify in anyway if there is an issue. When I did call they said I needed renewals from my doctor but they would request them. That never happened so I requested them myself. New prescriptions have been pending for almost 2 weeks with no communication on what more they need to process. When I called I was on hold for over 20 minutes and finally hung up. Terrible!!

Carrie refused to fill my husband’s life saving medication because they didn’t like my “attitude”. Fred Meyer is awesome just skip this place all together.

Wow! After reading other reviews here I guess pharmacies all over just suck!I can only speak of my own experience and I have only had good experiences at this location. I made mistakes and took my prescription elsewhere (see my review for Rite Aid pharmacy on Cooper Point)CVS is the best for me! They don't seem overly friendly or interested in chit chat, but I don't have a problem with that. Jacqueline (sp?) was working with only one other gentleman. She got my prescription keyed into the system, asked if I wanted to wait for it, I asked how long, she said 15 min. (Rite aid told me 2 hours with like 5 people working back there) I wandered around, grabbed a few things I needed, and then went back, she saw me next in line and had the meds ready when I walked up! Checked out and got out of there so fast! That's all I want from my pharmacist!

Due to multiple bad interactions my parents, my husband and I all have transferred to different local pharmacies. My dad was in to pick up his medications. They were ready the gal brought them to the counter and when he showed his coupon they did not continue with the transaction. They closed for lunch instead of entering in coupon info to update pricing. I understood closing for lunch, we waited. I didn’t understand treating him like an inconvenience after. They rolled their eyes and did not greet at all, we let others go ahead of us and then when it was our turn they walked away. They did his senior discount from the app he has and rang out with no communication other than his total. My husband was prescribed insulin and they dropped the bag multiple times on this. They caused a COB issue, they then stated it needed a prior auth but when the providers reached out they said it didn’t. I had to contact insurance and start an urgent request to provider because of this. This was for a new diabetic whose blood sugars were dangerously high and for over a week we were calling to get our script. They then got attitude when we showed up to pick up the prescription when their system had messaged us that it was ready. We should have called first, but when we do we are taking their time and they need to help customers in the store, the app will notify when ready. The final straw was again insulin issues and when my husband was asking about expirations on the medications and hazards that could occur (we were possibly ordering 90 days vs 30 and would not use all before expiration ) to which the pharmacist said “can we move this along bud”. Not one time has anyone asked if a medication we were getting was new and if we had questions for the pharmacist. When we finally do have questions we’re an inconvenience. They seriously need some regrouping and coaching on customer service and their job. Everyone deserves dignity and respect and in multiple instances we were treated with neither.

I was having difficulty with a prescription refill. I called the pharmacy two times, only to have the phone hung up on me. So I grabbed my keys and drove to the pharmacy to discover only 2 pharmacists working. No acknowledgment from either them as I stood at the counter. Eventually one came to the counter and help resolve my issue in less than a few minutes. CVS needs to treat it employees better. Once I got to the pharmacy I understood why no one was answering my phone call. All the money pharmaceutical's are making from people in this country, some of it should at least be shared with the pharmacy staff. After all they are the ones having to deal face to face with an unhappy customer. The pharmacy staff has no control over staffing and should not bare the brunt of unhappy customers. If I could change pharmacies I would. Unfortunately I am a captive customer as my insurance company contracts with CVS. I've also complained to my insurance co. Time for a national health care system! Yes, I said the "S" word! Socialism. We are well behind most other advanced countries.

Terrible customer service and no sympathy for anyone. They act like they don’t care and barely answer the phone.

Love the staff at CVS in Lacey. They always remember who my husband and I are. They are so helpful and friendly. We actually switched from Walmart to CVS.
