I absolutely love Great Clips. Usually short wait times. And the stylists are always friendly and knowledgeable.
In the rare occasion but I do have a problem they're very quick to make it right
And the fact that they offer a senior discount is extra points for them

CHECKING IN ONLINE IS A JOKE. THEY TAKE PEOPLE AHEAD OF THE ONLINE CHECKIN SYSTEM THEY HAVE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS LOCATION. TUMWATER IS WAY BETTER LOCSTION TO GO. MUCH BETTER HSIR STYLISTS AND FASTER USUALLY.

Tried to leave a tip but the person at the register was a impatient and unhelpful. There was an issue with the first transaction so we tried to cancel and redo it, but my bank still had a hold on my account for the amount of the first transaction. I was trying to explain this to the person at the register but they basically told me I was wrong even though I was looking right at my bank account on my phone and could see the hold. I wanted to work with her to get the hold on my account canceled so we could redo the transaction and I could leave a tip, but I got tired of arguing. It sucks because the tip was for the other stylist and it wasn't her fault, and if the person at the register had been a little more patient and taken the time, I'm sure we could have figured it out and gotten the hold taken off so I would have had enough to leave a tip. But she seemed like she was in a hurry, so. Might go to a different GC next time. That was embarrassing. I always leave a tip.

Been getting my haircut here for almost 2 years and never had an issue. Each stylist is respectful, receptive and ready to provide the haircut that fits your needs.
The online check-in is clutch. Highly recommend!

This establishment is professional and diverse in several ways. I receive a haircut weekly due to my profession and always greeted with a warm welcome. Their skills are unmatched and willing to try new methods of cutting hair. I required special techniques “fade with a comb” in order obtain my desired look. Vanessa has mastered the requested method and I have been going to her for the last three years. If you’re tired of receiving horrible haircuts (cough cough on post), come in and ask for “Vanessa”. They updated their look to be more modern and I 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

I’ve been going to the Hawke’s Prairie store for over 4 years, and have nothing but praise for the ladies that work there. I’ve never felt more welcome, valued, and respected at an establishment than I have at this store. Their care for both the service they provide and the people they see has been unparalleled. I’ve experienced the latter first hand, and witness the former every time I come in and sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while awaiting my turn. It has been and will remain a pleasure to continue my bi-weekly trips to see and be in the presence of these amazing people for as long as I remain in the area.

If I could give this place zero Stars I would.
PSA For anyone wanting to get a haircut out there especially the women!!!! Please be careful who you go to at this particular place. I came in to get curtain bangs I even had a reference picture. A very simple cut. I told the lady that was cutting my hair I'm very scared because the last time someone cut my hair they did a really bad job. I had been growing my hair back out for a year and I was finally able to get another cut. She assured me that she could do it and she been cutting hair for 40 plus years. When I tell you this lady cut my hair the way you would cut a 14 year old boys. She layered my already short bangs. When I looked in the mirror I wanted to cry. I was trying to be nice and find ways that we could fix it. But she kept making it worse by cutting without even looking where she was cutting. It got so bad I had to make her stop and have her coworker help me. And even she couldn't fix it. And if I'm being honest the co-worker didn't do any better of a job than she did. I literally left with a mullet. Picture this in your head you know the movie Joe dirt?.. that is the kind of haircut they gave me!!!!!... I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home. I am so upset not only because of what they did to my hair. But because I was stupid enough to leave them with a $20 tip. Because that's just the kind of person I am. And I didn't realize how bad it was until I really looked in the mirror ?... Just be careful who you trust to cut your hair
