I was basically accused of being a liar because Labcorp had failed to update my payment, rather than considering that just maybe it was their error.

The website hours of operation state Labcorp is open until 5:00pm. I walked in the door at 4:48, and was told they closed at 4:45. Change the website hours to 4:45 because that's what the sign on the labcorp door says when you stop seeing patients. When you stop seeing patients is when you close. Stop lying to people.
We need more lab options than just Labcorp

Systemic LabCorp error affecting all people in Olympia who returned 2 urine jugs for a 24hr collection in the past:
I give this example to illustrate the problem. For an example, assume you want to measure 24hr oxalates. Each 24hr urine jug is 3000ml. Assume you are over 3000ml. You need to use 2 jugs. We'll choose round numbers to make the math easy.
Assume you fill one jug with daytime urine and it is 2L. Assume you fill the second jug with nightime urine and it is 2L. You take the 2 jugs to Labcorp. The way Labcorp processes the two jugs is to add the volumes to get 4L. Then one jug is selected and an aliquot from that is sent to the Seattle lab. Assume the oxalate concentration in the daytime jug is 15mg/L and in the nighttime
jug is 5mg/L (I assume since you only eat food during the day, you produce more oxalates in the urine during the day than night. Accounting for intestinal delay the reverse may be true. In either case the argument below applies.) But if the aliquot is from the daytime jug, then the lab measures 15mg/L in the aliquot
sent to them, and calculates 4x15mg urine oxalate for the day.
If the aliquot is from the nighttime jug, then the lab measures 5mg/L in the aliquot and calculates 4x5mg urine oxalate for the day. Which one is correct? Obviously neither. (You need to mix the two jugs and then take an aliquot from the mixture to find the true oxalate intake for the day.) All 3 people in the room told me vociferously they never mix the jugs and would not do this for me. They all select one jug at random and take the aliquot from that. Further they called their supervisor to confirm, and the supervisor told them that not mixing and taking an aliquot from one jug was correct. This systematic error affects anyone returning 2 jugs in a 24hr urine collection, to a greater or lesser degree depending on how much the concentration of the substrate varies during the 24hrs. Further it affects anyone in the thumb print of this supervisor, which could be all of Olympia, and it affects any lab results involving a 24hr collection and 2 urine jugs for as long as this supervisor has been in their position. Further, the error might apply to a broader geographic area, and worst case the US. One employee was aggressive.

I was in and out of my appointment within 35 minutes. The older receptionist was sweet and conversational, which made my visit enjoyable (:

Very easy walk in and they were able to get access after I'd not been able to at my doctors. So thankful it was only one poke needed :)

Had a very bad experience with the black nurse who was working 9/6/24 3:30 pm. She was very rude and short while answering my questions. She basically lied to me about fasting just get me out of there. Then while I was leaving, she screamed from another room, have a nice weekend. If that was my business, and she was representing me, I would fire her on thhhe spot

I don't recommend this lab at all. When I last went they were way understaffed and they had only one phlebotomist as well. The waiting room was packed and it was so full there was a line out the door. When I was finally called up the person working the desk took way too long to find my information and I wasn't seen right away at that. This took an hour when all was said and done. Usually this takes only half an hour. It seemed like If this wasn't bad enough my doctor in Seattle never received the results, and when they have been called to ask the whereabouts of them they don't answer. I will never go here again, and that's unfortunate since it is so close to my home.

Had to do my pre-screening urine for my job. I did a walk in but appointments are preferred. They are open from 8-1230p and back to 130p-5p. In front of their door, they are only allowed 8-1145a. Employees are very fast and consistent.

Went in yesterday for a pre-employment drug screening. Came in for my appointment time but was told their computer system was down. Contacted my employer and was given another day to complete my test. Came in at open, and was there about an hour. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been here on 4 separate occasions, all for the same routine blood test and I have only been able to get it one of those times.
The first time they made me wait over an hour in the lobby. Either they or my health care provider had made a mistake transferring my lab orders over, so they weren't able to do my tests.
In the month between my 1st and 2nd visit I left them 4 voicemails asking when I could come in and redo the tests, none of which they ever responded to. It was like a ghost clinic before I finally learned that I needed to press 5 for the provider line, then 3 for the customer line to talk to a person.
The 2nd time I had my provider resend the labs to be told again at the front desk they again didn't have my lab order. Only after I gave them the reference number and showed them the order in my MyChart on my phone was the receptionist able to find it in the system.
A week after that, the third time, I conversed with reception for 30 minutes, and even called my provider and had them speak to the receptionist 3 ways, because my provider made a mistake and hadn't properly sent over paperwork. They again said I could wait, but my provider said that they probably wouldn't be able to fax it in time so the receptionist told me to come in tomorrow. She also asked me, I felt inappropriately, why I was getting a blood test again after I just got tested.
The next day (4th time) was the worst. The blonde heavyset lady at the front desk screamed at me and lashed out. Initially she explained that I was "taking too much time from the other customers". I said calmly that I was just trying to get my blood test done and the paperwork not being there wasn't there wasn't my fault, to which she said she knows and that it was my clinic's fault. I felt it inappropriate for her to openly blame my clinic. She also seemed to blame me for the length of the conversation, because even though they had received my paper work there were other people ahead of me, and that if I wanted a test I could again, for the fifth time, go to another Labcorp.
I felt that I was being discriminated against, because it felt like they always made me wait longer than the other patients, and the receptionist had made some comments toward me of a harassing nature. In response to this I calmly asked her "what did you just call me"? to which she didn't respond, which was a red flag for me. I was told by another woman with shorter sandy blonde hair that that even though they had the paperwork correct this time that I couldn't get the test because she'd been there working 50 hours this week, and that she was tired and that they were going home at 5PM. Which I also found unprofessional to put on me. It also felt like they could have made space for me because there were not that many people there I could see, but were choosing not to. The heavy blonde lady then made another harassing remark again that I thought she had made under her breath previously, at which time I complained that she was being racist and bigoted and that I had dealt with people like her.
In response to this the heavy blonde lady became visibly agitated and threatened to actually call the cops on me if I didn't leave (I'm part black). Despite that not only was I not committing any crime, I didn't even raise my voice, she threatened me with the police and treated me like a criminal.
Overall, they've been a continued and active detriment in my ability to access important and needed medical care. They have no business lashing out and making weird remarks about me or my provider, or asking me inappropriate personal questions about my medical history. Instead of sympathizing with my situation, which was greatly inconveniencing me as well, they blamed me for it and said I was causing trouble to the other customers because of it.
I've never

I have had the great displeasure of spending upwards of six hours over the last several days attempting to get simple tests done, sitting in the most cramped crowded unhappy waiting area in this lab. They are chronically understaffed! The staff they have are great but they are not even remotely close to being enough for the massive amounts of people needing important services. More people angrily left frustrated with several hour wait times than were seen. The appointment process on the website is on the fritz and walk-ins are almost entirely disregarded. I hate it there I never want to go back. I’d like to give zero stars.

3 tests done within 30 mins!! Stacy Deen was amazing! Making an appointment makes your experience so much easier than waiting as a walk-in (there were lots of people there). This location is great!
