Long Lake Park is a popular spot for swimming and relaxing, with clean, manicured grounds and outdoor showers. The park features bathrooms and an asphalt path leading toward the water, though it is not wheelchair accessible due to a steep hill. Visitors enjoy the lake’s beautiful scenery and the lawn that stretches down to the water, making it a pleasant place to spend a sunny day. During busy summer days, the park can be crowded with children playing, families having barbecues, and people playing sports like soccer and volleyball. The park also has trails, but some areas may have duck or dog poop, and there are hornet nests to watch out for. Overall, it’s a nice place to swim, tan, and enjoy the outdoors, especially during warm weather.
I love it. It’s a great place to go when it’s a beautiful and hot day. But there is way too much dog poop. It’s starting to get to the point where you can’t find a place to sit.

Great place to take the kids to cool off and close enough to just run over for a couple hours... no big plans to go to the lake needed.
