I had to buy a specific tool and was helped by Nick (he said he was from the flooring department), who was just walking by. Despite his being from a different department, he helped me find exactly what I needed, which was not easy, as Dewalt had a special going on and also because this particular tool was stored in different shelves - not easy to find. I've never had such competent, friendly customer service before in a hardware store. Promote this guy!

After a challenging delivery service, we want to shout out abou Cashier Monica who serves the Olympia store and the outreach for our order because the Lacey store didn't have what we needed, she worked with the Lacey store to find a resolution to the issue that no managers from the store were willing to address. Monica went above and beyond and should replace the current manager Erica and or Stacy. Thank you Monic. Big hug.

It's lowes. I feel like the quality of stuff is ok. It does not feel like it's home depot. Home depot seems builder's quality and lowes seems nicer. I know it doesn't make sense as they are both box stores but this one seems nicer.

Super frustrating experience with Chae. We got gifted a $50 lowe’s gift card a few days ago and were excited to use it. When we brought the gift card, the code on the back wasn’t even scratched off yet, so it was unused. When we got to checkout, the gift card was not working. The other employee couldn’t figure it out, so he called Chae over to help. Chae was not helpful at all and unprofessional. She kept leaving in the middle of helping us to tend to other people, making us wait about 30 minutes. After all of that .. the only conclusion she could come up with was that the gift card was not activated and our only option was for us pay with our debit. She kept saying, “you can come back later to get it figured out” .. but for what? She didn’t honor the $50 gift card now, so why would she later? Probably the worst customer service experience I have had. She was extremely unhelpful. It is frustrating to know that $50 is being wasted because of a computer error & that I had to pay for something that was intended to be a gift. Home Depot would never, lol.

I want to say I love this Lowes. The employees are so so friendly! I'm here constantly since moving here.
But, ya, here comes the but. I think his name is Keith, currently working returns and has a cast on foot. I was waiting to make a return. He was standing there I thought helping another lady. When she walked away he did not ask me to step over or acknowledge me in any way. So I said, can I return this with you? Unsure if the lady was coming back and maybe that's why he didn't ask to help me. Instead of saying sure, his replay was this IS the return desk. Did not appreciate the snark. Maybe not meant that way but sure did come across that way.
*Lowes may want to read my review again. Keith was basically the only one I WASN'T complimenting in this review. He was usually very nice so hoping he was just having an off day.

A lot of the staff in this store are clearly just there to collect a paycheck. When you ask to have someone called/paged to a department they roll their eyes and are obviously being inconvenienced by you.
Better off driving the extra 15 minutes to the Home Depot in Lacey.
