I have had so many stupid things happen with this bank and now after what I went through today I will be leaving them. I needed a tow for my car it was an emergency and when I went to pay ( mind you I had way over the amount for the tow fee $155) it was declined multiple times even after card services contacted fraud services saying I shouldn't have a problem but still was declining saying it was a fraudulent charge i went through this for two hours with still declining. I ultimately had to have my cousin pay for it and cash app her. This was such a a huge inconvenience and thank God the tow company knew it wasn't my fault and didn't charge me $100 fee and didn't continue the hourly rate for the tow cause I would have been out $500. So just know you can buy from scam sites and no problem but if you need a tow and it says genes towing on the bill it's considered fraudulent to them when in fact tows are most commonly used for emergencies.

I opened a checking account at Obee at the Tumwater branch in Washington. Leonor Arriaga, branch manager, promised to "call" the credit union that I had a cashier's check from so that my funds could be made available in a day or two. Instead my funds were not made available for 10 business days. She did not return my two voice mails to her. I would not recommend this branch to anyone.

My account with OBEE, the information was initially set up wrong by an employee.. which can happen.. however I went out of my way to go in person to this branch, fill out documents for auto pay, double check payment due dates, update any incorrect info etc to ensure EVERYTHING was go to go. Had to request my welcome letter THREE times. Was told the next payment date, therefore correlated the auto pay date to that.. then get a random email months later saying I’m late / over due for a payment.. yet the teller IN PERSON at this branch stated I was actually a month ahead.. Spoke to three customer resolution employees all on the phone, all had attitudes. All they said was well we can waive the late fee.. Not sure how you all have such great reviews, probably the worst bank I’ve ever had to use.

Obee Credit Union is great. Excellent service and will take the time to do whatever is needed when asked. I have a Pabst Blue Ribbon Credit Card that looks great, and the approval process was fast and easy. I have had the card for over 3 or 4 years now. The interest rate is better than any other card I have ever obtained anywhere. It sounds like I work for them, but I don't. I am a loyal customer that appreciates good service and an excellent CC rate.We have a home in Florida and Washington.

We , my husband and I had a great experiance with the Lacy branch . Wendy worked diligently and thoroughly to help us consolidate a loan. She was very friendly and eager to help us. At the end of the day when everything was done we went to the Tenino branch and everybody there was just as friendly. We have worked with Obees credit Union before and have never had any issues I would recommend them to anybody

Didn't know there was a worse branch than tenino, they are very rude every time you walk in there they are different people working , very seldom do you see the same face twice and it doesn't matter they're all rude, I work for a business in town and they won't give us change at all and we have an account there told us to go to Olympia now that's rude

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Just opened up an account and aside from one annoying ACH thing i had to deal with that i was not told about, I'm always greeted and feel welcomed when i have to go in.

Be careful about relying on the information you receive from customer service at this business. My company had a time sensitive need to cash a payment from a vendor that banks with Obee. We had the choice to receive a cashiers check or wire, but chose to have a business check issued after calling not once but twice to verify that we could cash the check despite not banking with them. We clarified explicitly that it was a business check and even went out of the way to acquire the business identification documents that we were told we would need only to be turned away at the branch. Massive waste of time and lost money and opportunity for my business. Poorly trained customer service, would not recommend.

"They are people helping people. That's what O Bee stands for!" They should really Rethink this mission statement. I got approved for a car loan purchased my car through a dealership and before the first payment was due the car started falling apart. After multiple attempts to contact dealer I never got a call back to rectify the situation. I returned the car to the dealer after two weeks. Like I said before I was required to make the first payment. Covid happened and I was in full communication with Obee in which I was able to pay what I could. Then I lost both my jobs and become homeless but was still paying what I could. I had to turn to a debt relief program where I would still be paying my debt but In payments that I could afford. If what they say in their mission statement had any truth to it then I would think that they would work with people who were trying their best to pay their bills. It wasn't like I drove the car for months then decided "meh I don't want this anymore" it wasn't like I am not willing to pay my bill. According to my debt relief program they are super aggressive going after me with court summons, not caring if I'm homeless again, not willing to do payment plans to help "people" not be homeless again. So much for their mission statement. They are liars. Don't do business with them.
