Probably one of the worst experiences I've had as a disabled person in a pharmacy. The staff was unfriendly and treated me like an inconvenience simply for asking to update my insurance in the system. I was treated like a child, even though I was genuinely trying to be as patient and kind as possible. I understand it was Probably just a bad day, but the discrimination from the staff on 05/06 was uncalled for. I am not stupid or slow, I know what you are saying to me. I wish I could write this place a better review cause it's a beautiful store but I need this called out pronto
Edit: as of 9/26/2025, I have written to the corporate office and have received no response afterwards. No indication that anything will be done. Avoid this place like the plague if you don't want the humiliation. Overall, if I could give negative stars, I'd do it. Never has a safeway let me down so severely.

the one star rating is because they never answer the phone and are terrible. At getting back to people but I do not blame them. it's unstaffed.

I've had negative experiences the last 3 times I filled here, but today I had my call answered and when my mom went to pick up my prescription she was blown away with how nice your employees were. Thankyou for improving

This place is absolutely atrocious..
IF someone answers a call, they immediately put you on hold and never pick back up.
Additionally they never fill an RX, even an antibiotic, sent over from a doctor the day of, unless you go and ride their butts about it.
They couldn’t find my medication they filled (3 to be exact) and one of the techs had the audacity to ask me if I was sure I didn’t pick it up earlier.
No. You just gave out medications such as muscle relaxers and nerve pain medications to someone else. They said they would fill it again that evening.
They never did.
They have no respect for their customers time.
But hey, if a medication sits there for a few days (while you wait for them to fill others, because if you don’t, you’ll spend every day in the pharmacy line as they slow crawl through each prescription one by one), you better believe they will blow you up if you haven’t come in for it… and then ask you to call them back but will not answer the phone.
And yes, I get that the “owner” will leave a response that’s generic and exactly the same as all of the others they leave. They’ve been “looking into this” for months. Just do us all a favor and say I DON’T CARE, atleast then that would be an honest answer.

Had a vaccine and must say, the room I was taken to was filthy! Dirty floors, the work space was a rolling cart with no sanitary cloth on top and as I waited there someone opened the door and was pushing a needle disposal container across the floor with her foot. I’m no clean freak, but was not at all comfortable having a vaccine here. Won’t repeat!!

This os the absolute slowest and constantly understaffed pharmacy I’ve ever experienced, and they never, under any circumstances, answer their phone.

My health is worse because of this pharmacy. They have gone downhill the past few years. Now they don't answer their phone and I've waited over an hour in line on multiple occasions. I'm not able to get what I need when I need it. They are losing a regular customer.

This pharmacy is nearly unusable. They don't answer the phone, the service is terrible if you can actually get any, and they frequently give out misleading information.

I live in the area and this Safeway is in a very convenient location, but this pharmacy is criminally understaffed to the point of utter dysfunction. I’m not sure if it’s a recruitment or management issue, but the lack of personnel to help people/customers is laughable. You need to look elsewhere.
