My son has been going to this daycare since he was a newborn, I had NO issues what so ever , he’s now two and recently ever since the new director started, I have been having multiple issues with new teachers and how they have been trained as well as the director herself, I’m currently in the middle of being unenrolled (I have 2 weeks with this daycare). I seen a review stating things have gone down hill since Alicia (the old director) left, I can admit that , that is true! Im just leaving a review for any other parents deciding on bringing your child here, it’s not worth it. my cause in which the supervisor provided me of being unenrolled was because of my concerns I’ve reported to the daycare when it comes to my son, his safety and my worries also her stating “this place doesn’t seem like a good fit for you”. My son was left in his diaper for 6 hours and nobody changed him, my son has came home with bad rashes and this isn’t the first time when it comes to changing his diaper, because of how much history me and my son have had with this daycare, I didn’t want to leave, I had hope that things could change, I also didn’t want to dump my son into a new environment when he’s already used to this daycare he’s in, I’ve got told/threatened multiple times by the new director (Catherine) to “just find somewhere else that fits you guys” as well as her threatening to unenroll us months ago. But because of how much times I’ve reported my concerns when teachers aren't supervising the kids as they should or even MY CHILDS SAFETY , I get targeted by both the director and supervisor, I’ve also heard by other teachers that they are (Catherine and Stephanie) are friends outside of work which would only make sense on why the director Catherine has got away with so much things, instead of kicking a parent out because of there concerns, why can’t things be talked about, why can’t you guys understand my worries when it comes to my child attending a daycare, instead of shutting me out, you can’t help me as a parent and figure out what will help all of us therefore my child can continue the care he needs. I have every right to feel how I feel when it comes to my child due to the incidents you guys have put him in before. I’ve tried multiple times to talk to the director and she completely shuts me out or argues with me. I have no other way to report my issues. This daycare is only best because they do support cameras that parents can access (in which the director can’t access so she wouldn’t be able to view the concerns you’ve seen ) and an app for your child (in which they barely update anymore or take photos of the child). I will not be suggesting this care to any friends or family🤦🏽♀️.

ever since the new director started working here things have gone down hill. My nephew goes to this daycare and his mom does not speak up because of the director not understanding her frustration or concerns when it comes to her child. New teachers are not getting trained well at all they just get thrown into classrooms with no supervision to make sure they have got the proper training and seems like everytime we report our concerns about how the teachers treat the kids or handle them the director Catherine is never understanding and makes us feel as we are in wrong as a director shouldn’t us parents/family feel comfortable coming to you about these things? I’m tired of worrying about my nephews safety as much as his mom is please do better Catherine. parents pay your facility and trust your teachers to take care of their kids

i went here since i was 3 (i think? thats what my parents told me) and the place is good but the rules are sorta strict probably because there are 5 year olds in the school age class also the food is good especially the yogurt😋😋😋😋 and also if theres any adults here who are considering taking their kids here in summer you can take you electronics eg, phone tablet etc, if theres any adults class is good😊

Our 2 kids have gone here for almost 2 years. There are many staff members who are great and dedicated, but the teacher we are most appreciative of has been Jes Tejeda. She started at the same time as my son in the infant room and has moved up to subsequent classrooms with him and his cohort. She is a trusted caregiver and truly loves and cares for the children. Management was smart to promote her! She structures activities for the kids, and they blossom and bloom under her care. Many families have expressed to me how happy they are with Miss Jes! I wanted to mention we have been overall happy with the day care, though there have been periods where they have staffing shortages and have had to limit the number of children who can attend that day, which can be tough on families. And they have unfortunately lost some great educators. I'm happy with the amount of free play the kids have, and the kids have had an overall positive experience there and were overall safe.

I absolutely love this place! My son has the best time! It can be hard dropping your little ones off when they are sad but the ladies here do such a fantastic job at reassuring them and I feel that my son is very well looked after. We receive updates and pictures daily and it makes me so happy!You guys are the best!!

Extremely impressed by the accommodations, communication and professionalism from the staff at The Children’s Courtyard South. Day One and all the kids already knew my daughter’s name! They even got her napping! So excited to leave my daughter in good hands.

My daughter has been going to CCY for 18 months. The building is clean and the cameras are accessible all day. The messaging app is convenient and you get updates about what your child is doing, eating, etc. The staff know how to make the transition to daycare easier for parents and children. At first, my daughter would melt-down during drop off but the staff reassured me that it was normal and they'd take care of her. She now begs to go to daycare! The staff are really nice and I know they care.

I just had my daughter start about a month ago ! And i absolutely love it! And so does my daughter , always has day full to tell me once she gets home! Very professional with still having the care and best for the children! This place is amazing and knowing my daughter never likes leaving is comforting ! Sam, Jasmine and amelia are her favorite!!!

We loved a few of the teachers there very much but the administration was not trustworthy or kind. Once our child was left alone in a room for 20 minutes. Don't trust them.

My daughter is currently in the preschool classroom with Ms. Jasmine & Ms. Denise; she is always so excited to go to school to learn new things and play with her friends which makes me so excited to hear about how her day went.I have nothing but wonderful things to say about everyone that works at this facility. Couldn’t have chosen a better place for my daughter.Thank you to all the staff at the children’s courtyard in Lacey, WA.

A wonderful place. All of the teachers know my son's name, even ones from other classrooms. All of the staff is kind. The gentleman who prepares the meals always says hello. They have live feed of all the classrooms, which you can access from an app on your phone, and they have a separate app that updates you on everything your kid is up to: diaper changes, meals, naps, even pictures of them having fun. I also think it's great that at the end of the day they almost always have a little detail of my son's day to tell me. I honestly appreciate every single person who works there, I would name them all if I could remember all of their names, but the standout ones are probably Laila, Dana, and Cynthia. I feel bad I don't recall the names of the others, but I truly appreciate all of you in the toddler and two's rooms.

A child I nanny on the weekends for attends this school and she LOVES it there. When I tell her to get ready for bed to get ready for school she is always excited for the next day. She loves the positive environment and all her teachers in twos and early preschool. She always talks about how she plays chase with Ms.Keko and the art she does with Ms.Cynthia and Ms.Kristen. I definitely recommend this place!

Absolute 5 STAR care, compassion and patience from Ms. Brittany in the pre-k class. We've recently moved to the area and my daughter, and husband :-) were really feeling anxious at drop off time. Ms. Brittany was so kind and understanding when EVERY morning my daughter would cry when we left. She gently talked to her and redirected her anxiety. Within 5 minutes my daughter was calm and playful. She now constantly talks about going to school to see Ms. Brittany. We are so thankful she took the time to care because it made a hard adjustment go a lot smoother.

My 5 yr old daughter loves coming to school and seeing her friends and teachers! Miss Brittany and Jasmine are great and I enjoy seeing photos and activities that they do in school on my app. My 2 yr old just loves miss Dana!
