Eliminating pickup as an option has eliminated me as a customer. It's insane to expect me to pay $85 shipping on a $100 order when I could just swing by myself.

If this business plans on lasting, I advise to change your strategy on how you handle your business and hiring, otherwise your business won't last in this area, and i have 2.5 million followers that's checks out my reviews. So change your ways of thinking and strategies, and I will post the owners names on here

Shipping is extremely expensive because the only do next day delivery. Shipping usually ads 50-75% to the order total. They used to allow local pickup which could easily save me a few hundred dollars but they stopped that. It's so ridiculous that I live a within 30 minutes and have to spend a few hundred dollars for shipping. I now order almost all my materials from other companies. Save your time and money and do not use ULINE.Their original reason for no longer allowing pickup was dock congestion which is a joke. I picked up supplies all the time and never has more than 2-3 of us in line at one time and often it was just me. If the issue was not enough people to justify having an employee man the desk then a simple solution is to have a pickup days. For example, why not just say pickup is only available on Wed-Thur from 8AM-3PM? I used to love this company but now I tell everyone to avoid them. They do not care about customers, if you have complaints about anything they do nothing.

They are constantly always having hiring events, but I wonder if they even hire people. That just shows how they are picky on who they hire like for example you can go in there dressed business casual with a suit and tie and still they won’t hire you. My husband has 10 years experience working for warehouses especially as a lead. He heard about the hiring event and sure enough they denied him. That’s that he made it to the 3rd part of the hiring process. This place is a joke they only hire young people between the ages 18-35 and of course they are very discriminative towards race as well. Now my husband has his own company and very successful.

I went in for an interview. Fully prepared and manerly dressed as asked. Complete Resume and application with work recommendations. On time for the interview at that. The funny thing that I think about was when I walked in, they never asked me my name or anything. I said hello, I am here for my scheduled interview. They took my paperwork and asked me to take a seat. The next guy walks in behind me. They give him a full greeting, ask him his name with nice manners the full works. I sat there and I thought, ok, I see where this is going. I went through with the interview and I can feel how it was gong to end up. Sure enough I was denied the position. It seems like they are based on stereo type. And that's sad. Lucky for me I have a great paying job anyway. I was just seeing what was out there.

Outstanding customer service and super fast response and ship times on everything I have ordered from them. I am a residential customer, not a big commercial account of theirs, but they treat me the same as if I were one of those big purchasers. I had an issue in one of my orders (which was my fault, not theirs), and they responded immediately and I was more than pleased with how it was resolved. All of my orders with Uline arrived here within 48 hours!!! That is pretty amazing if you consider the variety and number of items they sell. And just browsing for other items I will need in the future for my car restoration projects, almost everything is IN STOCK. If you need anything for your shop or home, even if you are a homeowner or hobbyist such as myself, look to Uline before you look elsewhere, because if they have it the pricing is as good or better than other sources, they process and ship super fast and their customer service is second to none in quality.

They're in desperate need of a new hiring manager. I am ludicrously over-qualified for the positions I applied for, having first hand experience working on development teams with one of the most successful businesses in the US, yet received an immediate auto rejection in my email. For my own amusement I applied for a position there that required 5-10 years less experience than I have. Another immediate rejection.I can only assume that they really don't want or aren't willing to pay for qualified employees, I highly suggest anyone who wants a serious job to apply elsewhere. Time to go answer the 10 other companies that have been calling me off the hook while I wasted my time applying to uline.
