The Chocolate Man is a favorite chocolate shop in the greater Seattle area, considered by many to be the chocolate master. It offers the only place to get real, thick, hot drinking chocolate and sells an amazing variety of decadent, delicious, and unique little chocolates. The shop features an incredible selection, including award-winning bars like the hazelnut crunch, a fantastic habañero caramel truffle, and many other options like S'mores, Rum and Coke, and Dark Chocolate Haystack with Seasalt. They also provide single-source chocolate for baking, chocolate tools, and seasonal specialty items. The staff are friendly, helpful, and informative, with a wonderful dedication to the cacao bean. They offer fun chocolate classes, suitable for older kids and adults, where participants can bring home beautiful chocolates. The store itself is rather simple, clean, and accessed from inside the mall area. The packaging is alright, but the chocolate itself speaks for its amazing quality, making it a top choice for gifts and personal indulgence.
This is by far my favorite chocolate shop in the greater Seattle area. The staff are friendly, chocolates are amazing, and single source chocolate for baking is fantastic. Gift chocolates from here that I've given always received top praise.
