This is hands down the best coffee in Washington. Everything is amazing and local. Beyond 10/10. Heather is the sweetest. Will always choose Skog Haus.

I like a good coffee shop. There is something pleasing about sitting at a little table sipping coffee, writing Google reviews and watching people. I also like a good coffee drive through. You can get your coffee, have a brief chat with the barista and get on with your day. Skög Haus is somewhere between these two. It is set up in a little camper trailer in the parking lot of Local 104. You have to get out of your car and walk up to make your order. Then you have to figure out how to pronounce the name of whatever coffee strikes your fancy. The internet says, skög (Forrest) is Norwegian and pronounced something like “Skahg”.Given the language, it is no surprise that the two women running the booth are tall blondes. I looked over the board and ordered a drink with Mexican chocolate and chilis. The older woman rang me up and added my coffee to the tracker that will give me a free drink when I order enough of them. The younger woman introduced herself and chatted for a bit until the next customer came up. They take their time making the drinks, so you get a chance to meet the other people milling around while they wait for their orders to be prepared. The people are friendly and don’t seem to be too put out by the wait.I was enjoying the company when my drink was ready. I took a test sip and was pleased with the unusual flavor - chocolate and cinnamon with just enough heat to be noticed. I thanked the women and hopped into my car.Be sure to put your coffee in the cup holder when you leave. The road is busy and there is a blind corner hiding fast moving cars that you can’t see and they can’t see you until the last minute. Once I made it out of the parking lot, I settled in and enjoyed my coffee.

I got a chai ($6.06), it was so delicious and tasted authentic not overly sweet with a hint of spice. The stand itself is gorgeous and i loved the decoration. Would recommend.

I've been here a couple of times, now. Their coffee reminds me of my trips to Europe because it isn't overly sweet. The pastries are from Macrina Bakery which are okay. I think I'm the only one in Seattle who isn't blown away by everything Macrina produces. What will keep me coming back to Skög Haus is the service and attention to detail. I love a London Fog and they do it right. The tea is a quality brand, it's steeped for the appropriate amount of time, and the flavor is just right. They know lavender is a key ingredient in a proper London Fog and they don't skimp on the quality. This does mean lavender is a seasonal ingredient but they offer rose as a substitute. The rose works nicely with the Earl Grey and vanilla. Give it a try! What is especially charming is their motivation as illustrated by their logo. Ask them about it when you go.

Wow! Heather and her son Finn at Skög just made my morning. All the other reviews mentioning how Heather remembers all of her customers is true. She greeted several customers by name as we waiting for our drinks and it was a lovely vibe. I got the Eldr Mocha which had a unique (not overly) spicy kick and was delicious. I’m excited to come back again and try the rest of the specialty drinks??

My favorite local coffee shop! It's popular so there's usually a small line, but so worth it. And the owners are so kind and their coffee is awesome! If you like spicy, try the eldr mocha or anything with the chaiKid-friendliness: Hot cocoa with sprinkles for kiddos!

Wow. Great coffee. Great service. Great sparkling clean airstream style trailer. I was greeted and recognized as new and asked for my name, the two people working both introduced themselves to me and made me feel very welcome. Several people in line were regulars and I can see why..

Hands down the best espresso on the Eastside - I've tried every single coffee shop in the area from Bellevue to Lake Forest Park. This is a wonderful, light hearted family business. She makes every drink with care and makes an effort to know every customer personally, which is so rare these days, especially in Seattle. They have Macrina pastries as well for a quick bite. Also if you have a furry friend they have free dog biscuits. My pup enjoyed that!
