Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't expect the boss lady "Whitney" to be too much help. Very condescending and rude and needs to be looked at by higher-ups.

I use the Safeway app to order groceries as it's very hard for me to get to the store. This is the store that delivers them. I've had issues EVERY single time and last night, they only delivered half my items. But they charged me for ALL of them. And I can't call the store because magically their number selections don't work. So I paid $125 for half my items, with no way of communicating. And the Safeway online customer service tells me to call the store. So here we are.
This is the last time I will be using the app to order and get delivery from this store. They are useless and don't care about their customers at all. When I do call and get a hold of someone, I'm met with rudeness, and either put on hold for half an hour and have to call back, or just straight up hung up on. My orders are consistently messed up, and cold foods delivered Luke warm.
Last night they said they were out of half my items, but I had a friend who went this morning and confirmed every item I ordered was in fact fully stocked. So I'm calling laziness on the delivery part.
This needs to change.

While using the self check out I needed assistance for something that didn’t ring in correctly. After using the help button I waited while the attendant helped others. As she turned her back and walked away I said excuse me, loudly to get her attention. When she came over she was extremely rude saying I didn’t need to yell at her. When I tried to explain I was just trying to get her attention, because she was walking away, she continued with her rude behavior and remarks. Completely uncalled for disrespectful behavior.

Angie, the one lone check stand that was open for us "customers" was sweet and professional.
I took a picture of the 11 customer's in line behind us but can't attach.
The manager in "service" didn't have time to find help. Some day they can replace her. Hope it's before Angie.

So i was originally going to post 1 star, but dud to the way Theresa (customer service) and Logan (manager of drive up) handled my situation they gain the stars.
I had a drive up order and consisting of 4 different meats from the deli. When I got an alert items were "out of stock" I noticed it was all the deli meat I ordered, which seemed odd to me. So I called the store and spoke with the Deli department and they let me know that "No person from drive up came to the counter" . I asked Devin from the deli department to please package up the meat and I'll be right in.
Once I got there I spike with Theresa who was kind and understanding. She led me to Logan and he listened to what I had to say and the 2 of them helped me more than I think even they understand
Thank you guys and I hope the drive up person learns that they can't get away with being lazy, because I have hungry kids to feed so I'm gonna search down my food ?

This particular Safeway is amazing. Great prices, fresh (for real) produce, clean and organized, always great sale items.

Safeway allows non service dogs in the store. Service dogs with training are easy to spot with their yellow jackets. Ive seen little dogs sitting in the child seat and bigger dogs walking around with their owners. This store sells food and non service dogs should not be allowed. I spoke to the manager and she said that theres no way to keep non service dogs out of the store. I looked up the municipal code and only trained service dogs are allowed. They have a yellow jacket on them that makes them easy to spot. Anxiety dogs are not recognized as service dogs. They call it "sanitary market" for a reason. No animals allowed unless they are certified service animals. SAFEWAY NEEDS TO PROTECT ITS CUSTOMERS
