Great place to shop! They added more self checkout stands.

Nothing too exciting. It’s just a grocery store like all Safeway.

Seems more expensive than other grocery stores in the area. I'd like to edit to give an example of a price hike that doesn't make sense. $3.29 for an English cucumber ($3.99 for organic). At another grocery store close by, it was $1.50. Why the price hike on fruit and veggies?

Jen your night self check out worker has to be on something getting my husband’s birthday wrong with the ID in her hand, and slurring her words to barley making sense. On top of that her attitude is horrible, next time going to go check out line.

I usually feel safe here but we both know how quickly that can change. You still have to keep your guard up, lake Stevens is pretty hardcore.

Kind staff in every department ready to help. Produce section has gotten much better. No more sparrows flying around landing on produce. Join the rewards program for great sales and sometimes free items! Pharmacists can answer many questions and are happy to do so. Great cheese sections, both gourmet and regular cheeses in 2 different spots. The Safeway brand of foods is cheaper than the name brand food and most of it tastes the same or better than name brands, often with less salt like with their hot dog buns. Big organic vegetable section!!! The organic vegetables are always fresh! Safeway also has many kinds of organic items under the O Organic Safeway brand in many departments and styles.

Spent 3+ hours waiting on my delivery, only to find out the person in charge went home early. The phone number that customer service gave me went to a scam number for medical supplies. I DO NOT recommend ordering delivery groceries here

The most terrible service that can only be. This is death for the deliverer. I've been waiting for my order for an hour. It was never assembled. They work terribly. Dordash needs to block this store.

Good place to stop and eat at on trips we go on, clean inside and nothing more than a normal Safeway.

My recent shopping experience at Safeway left much to be desired, and I couldn't help but feel that I could have received a better overall experience for the same price elsewhere, like at Haggen. While Safeway is known for its convenience and wide selection, my visit fell short of my expectations. The lackluster experience began with the customer service. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive, leaving me to navigate the store without any assistance or guidance. In contrast, Haggen's emphasis on attentive and friendly service creates a more pleasant and personalized shopping environment. Moreover, the layout of the store felt cluttered and disorganized, making it a challenge to find what I needed efficiently. In comparison, Haggen's well-arranged aisles and clear signage make for a more seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.Price is an important factor, and while Safeway's prices may be competitive, the value for the money I spent felt lacking. I couldn't help but think that, for the same amount, I could have received a more satisfying experience at Haggen, where the attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are apparent. In conclusion, my recent trip to Safeway left me underwhelmed and somewhat disappointed. While it may offer convenience and a variety of products, the lack of attentive service, disorganized layout, and overall experience left me considering alternatives like Haggen, where I believe I could receive a better value and shopping experience for my money.

I know this is outside Safeway's control, but the parking lot is a crowded, aggro, nightmare. I was almost hit twice on my last trip. Once walking to the store, then to my car. Of course, the same aggro people then proceed to "drive" their carts the same way inside, which is also fun. They seriously need to do something about the store design tho, which IS in their control. The interior aisles are mostly ok (except for the random "half" aisles that have people cutting in front of you), but the outside aisles are cluttered with bins and displays that don't allow for any sort of traffic "flow" at all. The area in front of the check-outs is the worst; way too narrow. There's barely room for people to line up, and forget trying to traverse across the store from the deli to produce (FYI, the back of the store ain't much better!).As I entered, it occurred to me that I hadn't been there in a while and it took me about 30 seconds to remember why. I won't forget again.
