Everything was good with this truck, but the ac didn't work moving from SC to Washington, I would rent from them again. Price was a lot cheaper than uhaul by far!!

I was a little hesitant to rent from this location given the previous negative reviews, so we went in a day ahead of time to confirm our rental. Our customer service rep was super helpful and streamlined the process! He even helped us make sure our hitch was secure!Only downside is that their operating hours are quite reduced, as they are closed by 12pm-1pm most days.

Edit review 10/28/2020 I made a reservation for a truck with the Lakewood WA rental shop two weeks ago. I phoned to confirm my reservation a week ago. I got a confirmation e-mail from budget and I printed it out. Today when I went to pick up the truck I was informed that I was not in the system. I gave the attendant my confirmation and was told they did not have any extra trucks including the locations in Puyallap and Federal way. I was given no other solutions. I tried for the next 2 hours to find a truck, but with no success. I has to cancel my move due to this gross incompetence and and am out $250 for expenses, not to mention my time and inconvenience. I will never get a truck or car rental from Budget in the future

So friday I talked to a lady about returning my truck on Sat and informed it that I wasn't going to return it full because the replacement truck (which I was returning) want given to me full. Actually only had a 1/4 tank in it. She said no problem don't worry about it. Corporate told me the same thing. Today I get a call telling me they are going to charge me. I told the guy that corporate said they wouldn't and he said I would have to dispute it with them and they can refund me. First off I have been trying to talk to corporate for over a week about a different part of my bill. Now he acts like it isn't a problem to talk with them when he wants to brush me off as their problem. Watch out they lie.

They were great. Quick. Helpful. Fair. I was in and out and their customer service was polite and friendly. Would surely use them again and recommend to others. Don't believe the bad reviews. I rented a moving truck not a rental car.

I was really worried about renting a moving truck from here after reading other reviews, but everything turned out okay! We were able to pick the truck up on time, and even though they forgot to include the hand truck that we paid for (which we didn't end up needing anyway) there was no issue with refunding the money for it. Matt and Scott were very friendly and helpful. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the truck was dirty on the outside and inside, but otherwise everything was great.

Easy rental process, people working were friendly and helpful. The place could use some cleaning however, lots of trash around the outside and a bit funky inside.

I reserved a car less than 24 hours ago something came up and had to cancel my reservation they still charge me $50 for canceling my reservation do not ever pre-pay for a car ever here they say that it's online but it's very small print at the bottom and you have to search for it to get it that's where they make their money they literally just charge me $50 for nothing less than 24 hours after making my reservation that is later on in the week I can Buy a plane ticket and get a full refund of my entire payment if I cancel less than 24 hours and please do not call the customer service line they don't speak English they can't understand a word you're saying and you can't understand a word they are saying If I could give zero stars I would they will be hearing from me and my attorney

Charged an additional $177 after turning the truck in. I had the full insurance package. Trucks are not the price advertised.

This location has the WORST "customer service" I have ever gotten from a business I was trying to work with for there service. Got a call a few hours before my husband and I were to pick it up telling us they did not have the 12 foot truck we reserved but they had a 16 foot one we could take for the same price. We tried to change the reservation for the next day, but if we did we wouldn't get the promo price we got at the time the reservation was originally made. They then had a 12 foot truck returned so we could take that one. My husband was driving the truck back home from this location. While on the way, he noticed that the driver's side mirror was very loose and would not stay in place (yes they sent us on our way with the mirror like that). We were told, again, that they didn't have any other 12 foot trucks. We even asked if they could just fix it, but they said they didn't have anyone there that could fix it. They did not offer another truck, a refund, or any other helpful solutions. They even said they wouldn't have anything available for they next day. We just told them that we just wanted to cancel the reservation and be done with it all. I called the corporate customer service, but they said they could only refund a small portion of what we were charged and the rest we would have to dispute with the location. This was a nightmare experience and I would definitely discourage anyone from ever using this location.

Avoid this location and Budget truck rental at all costs. Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. Showed up to pick up our truck on 7/28/2018 and was told they didn't have any trucks for us or anyone else that day. Couldn't explain why we didn't receive a call the day before so we could attempt to make alternative plans. We would have been charged a $50 cancellation fee if we would have cancelled our reservation within 48 hours, however all they could do was say sorry and tell us to call Budget customer service if we had a complaint. They blamed Budget, budget blamed this franchised location...no accountability, terrible business.
