Robert at the front desk made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean, and the jetted tub we chose was very nice and worked great. However, our shower had a slow drain, the pool area had no towels and the jets in the hot tub by the pool weren't working. Also, the pancake machine was broken, which was minor but it's my favorite part of their breakfast. The price was very reasonable, I would come back here but hope to find less things out of order next time.

Clean room and safe parking. Some buildup on the shower head and "rust" on some fixtures but overall good. Super comfy

One side of the hotel is within spitting distance of I-5. The traffic noise is almost unbearable. The rooms were clean, and each room had a mini fridge. Wifi was good. Parking is pretty tight, especially for larger vehicles. The pool is nice and the workout center needs some help. Staff were nice enough, but it took four phone calls to get a receipt of our stay emailed to me. Overall, there are better options in Lakewood for the same price.

Hotel staff checked me out of my room 1 day early, they removed all of my belongings from the room hamgers and drawers, went thru and ransacked all my bags and belongings and left them in complete disarray. They refused to give my bags back until I called the police. Such a horrible experience after working a 14-15 hour emergency shift. It's also not a very safe area. The room was also run down. Ripped shower curtain, sticky carpet, shower makes awful loud noises, TV speakers have horrible static. Worst part is the outlets that were so old and worn down phone chargers will fall out.Edit: to the "managers response" well words don't mean anything. Your company did absolutely nothing regarding the money stolen from my bags or other items that were missing, and made no offers to make it right. The generic "were sorry" doesn't cut it. Probably safer to go sleep with the homeless guys in the parking lot than to stay in This hotel.Rooms: Cheap done, sticky floors, staff steals.Safety: I think I would have been safer sleeping with the homeless guys in the parking lot, since the hotel robbed me.

Can not emphasize this enough- do not get room with jetted tub. I went to use it and when I turned on jets black mold and hair spewed out. Front desk clerk was apologetic and took pics. He said GM would contact me. I was offered $50 off from GM via an auto response text. Asked to escalate beyond GM without response thus far. Makes me wonder what else they fail to properly clean?!?

The more time I spent here the less I liked it. The booking process was confusing, I requested a room with a jet tub and specified in the request that if I booked the wrong room to contact me. Arrived to find no jet tub and asked about moving rooms but was told all those rooms were taken. So I spent money on a king suit instead of a standard room for no reason. I told myself it would be fine since there was still a hot tub but the jets didn't work, it was luke warm, and full of floating bits of who knows what. I said ok then I guess I'm taking a hot bath in my room NOPE not only was there no plug to take a bath but it was so gross I didn't even want to shower in it. Breakfast would have been nice if it weren't for the front desk person having a loud argument with another guest who also had a miserable stay. All in all I won't be returning, recommending, or speaking with any more staff about the quality of my stay.

The rooms were stellar. One of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. I'll be lucky if I get to stay in that room again.Location leaves a bit to be desired, but have still stayed in worse spots.

Above and beyond this is the best holiday inn to stay at in the area. Paige is far and away the nicest person that could great you and she’s always ready to help. And she’s not the only one. All staff members are amazing here. Good breakfast and actually has a decent size pool. Stay here!

I've been staying at this Holiday Inn for the past two weeks so far.I want to give a specific shout out to two front desk workers, Robert and Tai, that have helped make this one of the most positive hotel experiences I've had. Both the gentlemen are extremely friendly, very helpful, and quite polite. Thank you Robert and Tai for a great experience! And good job to the rest of the hotel staff

I was very pleased with the layout of this facility. The pool, spa & fitness center were all very clean. They are all semi private so you don’t feel as though your on display while enjoying yourself. Elevators were quick. Hallway corridors were clean, no funny smells. Room was clean and temp was perfect. Only disappointment was upon arrival no front staff were at counter and it took several minutes for anyone to emerge to check us in. There were no devices to activate to illicit an alert that we were there awaiting service. Other than that our stay was extremely pleasant and we will definitely choose this one again over the place next door any time!

Very clean hotel and good value for money. We picked this place as it was between Olympic and Mount Rainier national parks. We have been very happy with the service and breakfast. Rooms were clean, they might do more maintenance into some of the parts of the rooms to make it look newer. I would recommend if the location works for you.Food & drinks: So many seafood restaurants around even on the waterfront close to Tacoma with great views. There are also other options around the hotel.

I just wanted to let you and all of the people of the Holiday Inn family know that the desk agent, Mayla, was hands down the most professionally compassionate person I have had the pleasure interacting with at a hotel the past decade. She was able to help this weary traveler at an inopportune time of day get into a room and feel safe and welcomed. Her efficient desk demeanor and welcoming smile and attitude, at the end of a long night shift (poor thing), was so kind and just the type of interaction missing in most hospitality based businesses. I can unequivocally say that she has a bright future in whatever she does and is clearly an asset to your fine hotel. Thanks again for the stay!Rooms: Nice especially for the location!

Right off the freeway in a clean neighborhood, and within 10 minutes of great restaurants (BBQ Pete's), the mall, and Mt. Tahoma high school, which our track meet was at. The hotel had a great variety of hot food for breakfast, rooms were clean, and front staff were friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean and at perfect temperatures.Rooms: Clean with a variety of pillows, Keurig, fridge, microwave, iron & board, desk and chairs.Safety: Located in a safe neighborhood just off freeway.

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times and have mostly enjoyed it, with some caveats. The front desk staff is hit or miss. You might either get a rude girl who mumbles and completely messes up all aspects of your stay, or you might get a super respectful and professional guy who is super on top of everything. The rooms are ok, but a little dated. We always stay in the king suite with jetted tub. The layout is pretty cool: individual room for the hot tub with doors that close and its own AC system with 2 chairs and a small table. However, it takes no less than 45+ minutes to fill up! On average it takes about an hour, which is pretty inconvenient. The worst thing about this hotel is the air freshener/cleaner/scent they use. They absolutely drown their hotel in this scent, it is literally nauseating in the hallways and will loft into your room. Our last stay I dealt with sinus issues because of it.Location is a little rough but is in a conveniently close proximity to a lot. Parking lot feels safe. Convenient store/market on-site is nice.Overall worth a night or two stay.

Let's start off with how pretty the lobby is. The night desk person was so incredibly nice. That is why they received 3 stars from me. He made my stay at the hotel so much better just by how nice he was. Now lets start with the room. This was our 20th anniversary. We stayed here because my husband had a doc appt 15 minutes away. We were very excited. The room was not as nice as we had hoped. There was hardly any toilet paper. We had to use the Kleenex. The jacuzzi tub was so slow to fill it took 45 minutes. By the time we got it full the water was cold. There were no hand rails on the side of the tub both my husband and I slipped getting out and almost fell. The floor to the bathroom from the tub was also very very slippery. We had to put all of the "extra" towels on the floor so we did not slip and fall. This room was a nice size but there were only 2 sets of towels. There were only 2 coffee pods for morning. The fridge made a humming noise that my husband had to get up in the middle of the night to try to fix. Now lets talk about the bed. This was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. It was absolutely horrible. Let's just say neither me or my husband got any sleep at all. I wish I could give this hotel a better review because I love holiday inn but this room was so far below it's standards that I just cant. If it was not for the night desk person I would have given this this hotel 1 star.
